You know how those shopping carts can make it anywhere w/in 2 miles from any given Walmart. Like a herd of buffalo you'll find dozens of them from the main mall entrance all the way to the bus stop. But I digress. The food court has several options to choose from. Including Dairy Queen. Taco Bell. Tim Hortons. A&W.... Italian. Chinese. There is also a drug store right there if you want something else. I liked to get the Bumble Bee tuna and crackers for $2.50. Since Hubs wanted to go to the mall EVERY SINGLE DAY, I was trying to same money and ration my calories. Walking the mall is pleasant and although much of what you get in Canada is more expensive than USA, there are a lot of stores with fantastic prices and great sales. I always need another suitcase when I leave Sudbury!

Parked on the west 2nd floor parking area. Entrance #8. Used my cane instead of my walker. Lucky for me. Trying to get to suite 255. No sings or indication to where I should go. Like a bowling alley there. No one to help you and did 3 sets of stairs in my unknown travel to locked doors for no friendy information help. Met one older lady that was lost. Hope she is ok. Workers in the health center were very professIonal and helpful but could not hold back on saying that they must have free rent. Two thirds of that office was unoccupied. We are paying for that. Yes let's build an arena downtown where seniors are not considered. Just remember, some day you may be handicap.

Honestly, I don't get why everyone bags on this place all the time. Sure, it's not the greatest…read moremall out there, but it serves it's purpose. The express Country Style on the far end of the mall serves up better coffee, hot chocolate and donuts better than the Tim's across the road could ever can. Best of all, NO line ups. There's always a security guard or two on duty, so none of the downtown crazies get too far out of hand before they're dealt with. The movie theatre, Rainbow Cinemas plays movies that have just left the mainstream theratres for $5 during regular hours and $2 on Tuesdays. The Hart Store might be a little more expensive than Walmart, but honestly, I'd rather be able to walk there and back again in 5 minutes than have to spend at least 90 minutes on the bus going up to New Sudbury Mall for either Target or Walmart. - After bus fare and your time, are you really saving any money at all? YMMV on that. The food court is a bit lame, but does it's job. There's an A&W, Chinese, Mediterranean, and a newly re-opened Mr. Sub. The only thing it's missing is a place to get a slice of pizza. Edit: As of the end of August, the movie theatre is no longer in business and they have removed the free wifi which was available for at least the year since I moved here to Sudbury. Without these, I really have no reason to come here anymore, aside from the Buck or Two when I need something in a pinch.

I've been to three different 'restaurants' in it, and all three times they've completely blown it. Every food stand in here is a pathetic second rate version of the ones you'll see in the Eaton Centre or Masonville Mall. I went with the poutine, dog and drink combo which cost me nearly 11 bucks. The cashier didn't seem to have a whole lot going on upstairs. When I asked if it's real poutine, he didn't know what I was talking about. (PROTIP, real poutine is made with cheese curds) So then I asked about the frequent buyers card, where you get 7 orders, the 8th one is free. He didn't know about those at first, he thought I was talking about my credit or debit card. Finally, I asked about a refill on my drink. No refills. None at all. I always got them at both the White Oaks Mall and the Masonville Store, recently it was scaled down to just one, but that's acceptable. But none? You can forget seeing me ever again. If they want to save 1 cent in pop, to lose a $11 sale, then all the power to them.

I did request the 'premium' blend, which meant yogurt would be used but the attendant used ice cubes instead. What I got was a watery mess that had no taste. I know it was free, but that doesn't mean they need to half ass it. I always got what I requested at the Exeter store when I would use a free coupon. I usually am willing to give a business another shot if they fumble, but something this incompetent, I certainly won't be going back there again.

For me, Sudbury was a cross between the setting of a David Lynch film, the 1950s, a blue-collar hell hole, and a land devoid of color and glee. Having said this, the bright colors and the festive music of La Casa Mexicana attracted me in. The server was very friendly and had a smile. She was also prompt. No problems with the service. The food, however, was bland. But let's face it, i knew Mexican food in the middle of a damn coal mining town would probably not offer an explosion of happiness in my mouth. But the food didn't make me sick, so that is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1. Also, the prices were too high. I guess it was my best choice for food in the area, because the only other crap I could find was fast food (yuck). But if you can find other restaurants, I would highly recommend you try one of them over this place.
