This was by far one of the most unprofessional and disorganized venues I have ever experienced. Our…read morebook club chose this venue for our annual event because we intentionally support and highlight Black-owned businesses throughout Houston. Every other business we have partnered with has provided exceptional service and hospitality, making this experience even more disappointing. What was supposed to be a four-hour event quickly turned into a disaster when the power went out approximately two hours in. Despite the significant disruption, there appeared to be little urgency from the owner to resolve the issue or properly address the concerns of our guests. Even more troubling was the owner's behavior toward our group. A room full of women was spoken to in a disrespectful, dismissive, and aggressive manner. Rather than demonstrating professionalism and customer service during an already frustrating situation, the owner chose to respond with hostility when concerns were raised. The interaction left many of us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. To make matters worse, the police were called on our group, which felt completely unnecessary given the circumstances and only added to an already unpleasant experience. What is particularly disappointing is that I had initially been recommending this venue to a family member as a potential wedding venue. However, after witnessing the owner's behavior firsthand and experiencing the way our group was treated, I can no longer recommend this business in good conscience. This venue had an opportunity to make a positive impression, but instead it became a major letdown. Professionalism, accountability, and respect for customers should be the standard, especially when things go wrong. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I will not be returning, and I encourage others to carefully consider their options before booking this venue.

My book club hosted an event at this location, and approximately two hours into the event, the power went out. While power outages are certainly beyond anyone's control, what was completely within the venue's control was how the situation was handled. The manager informed us that a transformer had blown, yet surrounding businesses still had power, which raised concerns about the accuracy and transparency of the information we were given. Rather than communicating openly and professionally, the manager was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional toward our organizers, vendors, and authors--many of whom had traveled to Houston specifically for this event. Instead of showing empathy or attempting to accommodate guests during an unexpected situation, we were told to leave the premises immediately. To make matters worse, vendors and authors were not provided reasonable access or assistance to unload and retrieve their materials. There was no effort to work with us or offer solutions during a difficult situation. Our organization invested significant time, money, and trust into hosting this event at this venue. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic courtesy displayed by management was incredibly disappointing and disheartening.

This warehouse venue is approximately 7000 square feet with a 250 max occupancy capacity and ample restrooms. This property sits off the Metro Green Line near the Cesar Chavez/67th station. Parking is located in the back with two empty lots, and off-street parking. Parking is tight, and can be dark as minimal lighting is provided. It's a newer venue so I sure they are improving. This is a great addition to the strip of businesses. Now turn up the music and enjoy yourself. Be responsible and don't drink and drive. Take the rail or Lyft/Uber is a great option.

No reply so I email her she responded sending me these pictures saying this is the reason why I didn't receive my refund from my security deposit. I can promise yall these pictures isn't from my event. I made sure everything was is place like it was when we first entered the building. Now check this out we did more than we should have after the party. My mom cleaned all the bath rooms pulled all the trash we even ran a wet mop over the entire building. All we left was the trash can full of trash because we didn't know we're to take it. My mom wiped down all the furniture as well. I can assure that nothing was out of place. The building had roaches and my mom even put something down for the roaches to help them out. You going to tell me you not refunding me my money because of what? Your venue is clean. Oh I forgot to mention this picture were take inside of the storage room. Not inside of the venue but the storage room.

The chosen venue was not large enough to house the number of people that were sold a ticket, at specific show times. It was difficult to observe the artwork without feeling someone's hot breath down my neck. My girl would have questions if she saw how close I HAD to be on some patrons, lol. I tried my best to not bootleg the "exhibit" but if you're looking for a crowded room, where you can really appreciate the art, and you just want something to share with your co-workers over the water cooler so they think you social ...Come thru!!!

Renting for two hours (which they have a two hour minimum) from 10am to 12pm. I arrived on time and they would not let me up till 10:25am because they were setting up the seamless backdrop I paid for. Then once they let me up this is what I came to. A seamless bent and wrinkled. Stands prepared wrong. No sand bags and the seamless was set up backwards. With all due respect this is a studio run by baristas who have no education in photo. When I asked if I could speak with Penelope who runs the space they told me she wasn't there. So I called her three times and she didn't answer. Then one of the employees comes up and said "I just spoke with Penelope and we do not offer refunds." Meaning Penelope was ignoring my calls. Then the employees threatened to take away the backdrop and threatened me. None of them were nice and disregarded that I was waiting and starting late. Don't recommend this studio space.
