I was greeted when I walked in and was thanked for my business on the way out so you get 2 stars for that however the diet Dr. Pepper I drank had the absolute worst flavor. When I looked for an expiration date it said it expired in August of 2015. I made this purchase in October of 2018. Nice folks here but the drinks, not so much. ***Updating my review*** That was not the expiration date apparently. I had another diet Dr. Pepper from a different store completely and it tasted the same as the terrible one from Zoom Zooms. I read the printed numbers from the bottle cap and based on the format it doesn't appear to be an expiration date. I guess I no longer care for the flavor of diet Dr. Pepper or they have changed their formula.

For those of you that like your convenience store to feel like a head shop - this is it! Electronic machines with "~store credit up to $5 only~" behind a wall but in the open? This is your place! Inside the display you will find Kratom, CBD, "Hemp Bombs," paraphernalia for "tobacco use only," and ashtrays. I don't partake in that wack toback, but I know that if I did, this might be my place. They have a really big wine selection for a store this size, and a good variety in that. They have all your standard gas station fare, and have some really interesting varieties of Nootropic or CBD infused Bang energy, Kratom sweet teas and some obscure aqua frescas. They open at 6AM, and shortly after opening you will find the owner spreading bird seed on the far corner of the parking lot. He always looks so happy doing it, and that makes me happy. The number of pigeons that show up is unreal. Sometimes they have so many show up that passerbys take pictures. Never a dull morning. Certainly worth stopping in, for a change of pace or a great convo with ownership. The sweetest folks.

The bakery is lovely, and the meat section is downright glorious. We happened to be here at the tail end of Hatch chile season, which is apparently a VERY real thing. Every August, Central Market celebrates with about two weeks of Hatch chile everything. We're talking marinated meats, salsas, chips, cheeses, dips, even cookies. Basically, if they can put a Hatch chile in it, they will. We bought a few things to take home and try later, but we also grabbed an Asian chicken wrap with sweet potato fries from the cafe. Delicious, and easily enough for two people to split. Come hungry, come curious, and give yourself plenty of time. This is not a "run in for milk" kind of grocery store.

After getting gas, I went in today and got a candy bar so i could get cash back for 4 dollars to buy a lottery ticket, since you can't buy lottery ticket with a debit card which is ridiculous. So when i went to ask for cash back, the lady at the register seemed confused, she finally said "we don't do cash backs on cards" she then directed me to the ATM. Knowing the store very well, i knew the lowest amount you can withdraw from your bank account using that particular ATM was $20, i am not withdrawing 20 dollars from my bank account for a $2 dollars lottery ticket. I then told her, i don't want the candy bar and left it on the table and walked out. I am extremely disappointed with them.
