The stylist wanted to thin my thick hair with special shears and I said no but she did it anyway. Color was excellent but I am horrified and embarrassed by my cut. I called to complain and they put me on hold for a long time so I hung up. It's going to take at least a year to grow my hair out.

My hubby recently got me a gift of their Spring Special Manicure/Spa Pedicure from Sharpe Designs. The extremely inviting atmosphere service divided layout made me feel more human then the next cow up for slaughter that is typically found in today's cookie cutter franchised salons. I walked in was immediately greeted with smiles and was taken away; the salon is beautiful, clean and bright and not cluttered like other salons are. I started out with my pedicure, the aroma bath salts and the relaxation of the massage chair put me in a Zen state. It was a different experience not to be treated like a number at the deli counter and be rushed through the process. Peyton took her time and was gentle. It was the first pedicure I had where I was not fearful of being tickled to death. She removed my cuticles, shaped my nails, removed the callouses, she then used exfoliating sea salts, before massaging my feet and legs. I did not know what polish I wanted, so she asked me what I liked and she came back with the perfect color. I then went to her table, and soaked my fingernails, while she cleaned and sanitized the foot bath. The manicure was just as great as the pedicure. She shaped, cleaned up my cuticle, buffed my nails, massaged my hand and painted the nails. Voila! Fingernails and Toenails looked amazing! All while laughing and talking like old friends, that's something you don't get at other salons. Overall Sharpe Designs staff provides the full array of salon services. They're very personable and knowledgeable. The salon has tons of nail colors and an array of hair products. Machines are clean and the staff does a great job. Being a small salon, Sharpe Designs provides personalized service, something I find lacking in both the chains and the "high end" salons in the city. I will be back they can count on it!
