This store is nicely laid out with an absolutely huge selection of wigs and hair pieces, however the best part is the shops owner, Melinda. Melinda made me feel very comfortable and allowed me to roam at my leisure, answering my questions and offering info when required. Once I decided on a few styles she explained my choices and fitted them offering her opinion. Melinda is a wealth of knowledge and a delight to deal with. We drove all the way North to the open location on Sunday super excited to try. She had no idea what would look good... long, bangs, etc., so we wanted to try out the options and try to figure out which way to go. We tried one wig, and when she took it off the sales lady said, "Are you going to buy that one?" Ummmm, no, we'd like to try more. After we tried two other styles, the lady stopped us and said, "you should leave and only come back when you are ready to buy." Ready to buy? That's the intent of booking the day to go find wigs!!! But it's an expense, and it's your looks, so of course you want to try options. After explaining this, she told us store policy is that we can't try more than three. She said that it's unhygienic for her to be trying them on (WHAT? She gave her a hair net to wear under while trying). She then said, we are going to risk ruining the hair if we are trying them on. Are they not for trying on???? I was absolutely SHOCKED. I told her that we can't just try on one or two and know. This is a big decision. She told us to leave. She said the owners watch her on five cameras in the store and if she's discovered letting people try more than three wigs, she'll get in trouble. It's store policy. Here's what we did. We left and googled another wig store in Calgary. We drove there and had EXCELLENT service. The girl helped to match colors to my friend and find the style that worked. We made two purchases. (My fault: I should have taken a friend with me, because in my vulnerable state, I allowed myself to be talked into a hair topper that looks even worse than my own hair, because one of them said "Well, it looks better than your hair!") However, they refused to return the expensive styrofoam head, shampoo and conditioner because of "policy," even though they were untouched and sealed. They even refused to give me a bag for the unused products, on the grounds that they had been "generous with their time!" A very bizarre and unpleasant experience! I really wish I had read other similar reviews before. I wouldn't have wasted my limited time, energy and money. This is the only negative review I have ever written for any business whatsoever. I write it in the hopes that it might save some other cancer patient from a horrible experience.

I was pretty unimpressed as it shouldn't be categorized as a wig store. It's more of a jewelry store with clothes and maybe 10 wigs to pick from. The wigs they had were ok but very limited selection. They were $59.99 on sale for $14.99. They were all acrylic. The store was tiny and crowded but the shop owner was nice. It's not a "wig store".
