Terrible. He ended up effing and blinding because I wanted my curtain pole hanging on the wall and not on the wooden window frame. Swore at my wife also in front of our children This guy is an utter joke. read more

Hi, put in an call this morning Friday, 27th April 2018 to Glasgow Handyman Services and was treated really badly on the phone by a impatient, shot-tempered and difficult guy - hope he's not the owner (god help us!!). He just couldn't be bothered. Its usually the customer that is the one that has to be managed over the phone because of their crankiness not the people running the business! I tried to book work but found the guy on the other on the other end of the phone was just plain rude and really unhelpful. Maybe it was too early in the morning, being 8:30ish, probably eh?!! Glasgow is a city full of charmers. I would suggest that if your looking for a handyman a key quality is dealing with people and having a bit of savvy on how treat your potential new customers. Can you imagine if they are that rude on the phone what they're like onsite!! Feck that! I'll off to get a handyman who knows what they are doing. read more

Great experience when using this company. Came out to help when others would not, A leak was causing flooding to the flat below ended up being the bath seal. Job was completed in 20 minutes. read more

I arranged an appointment but he was a no show. When I called to check where he was, he rudely replied 'why are you phoning me to ask where I am?' I reminded him about our appointment which he denied making. He told me that he wouldn't be free until 11pm and suggested coming over then to complete the work, in a very passive aggressive manner. I told him just to leave it but he insisted on turning up at that time. I hung up but he continuously rang my phone. As a young woman I found this quite scary and completely unprofessional. read more

In the month and half I have waited for this company to do me a quote, other things and people are inconvenienced. How do these companies get away with this. It's always a maze and total uncertainty trying to select a builder, every single person is fearful when selecting someone to work on their property, the totally element of the the "unknown". If I could give you one bit of advice, it'd be NOT to use Stewart Heating. They are ALWAYS late and…read morethe service they provide is shoddy at best. After 3 visits to fix a faulty central heating system, they finally got it working (after asking us to cal their suppliers and paying for parts direct!), but then it wouldn't switch off. Boiling hot radiators with a 15 month old baby toddling about the place? Not a nice environment. I called to ask them to come and have a look at it and they said they'd be there between 9.30 and 12. 7pm that day and still no visit. After calling to chase it up, the guy I spoke to said it was Paul who was supposed to come out, and he'd get onto it and call me back. After that Stewart Heating started ignoring my calls. It turns out the problem was actually CAUSED by Stewart Heating who re-wired a couple of the heating pumps so one was constantly on. The guy who came out to fix it told me it was dangerous repair that could have had rather nasty consequences. So, I'd avoid them if I were you. They may be cheap but with dangerous repairs, is it actually worth it?

Jason is not only a great handyman, he is a really nice person that provides excellent service from start to finish! That's a really rare thing to find in Glasgow I initially found Jason using Yelp due to his high reviews, and I'm so glad I did! This is a case where the 5 stars are absolutely justified and deserved. Jason responded right away and was so friendly and polite. He worked with my tight schedule (was only in the city a few days to move out) and was extremely communicative with me along the way. Since I'm moving out, I needed a handyman to do some general repairs and also to take down an extremely heavy soundproof curtain that I had covering a sliding glass door. I was shocked at how speedy and efficient Jason was! The handyman that put up the curtains took 6-7 hours, but Jason had them down and the wall/ceiling repaired within 30 minutes. Amazing! In addition, his rate was extremely reasonable and competitive. All in all, if you're debating which handyman to contact off of Yelp, don't look any further. I can't recommend him or his services any more highly. Jason is the best of the best! I can say honestly that his superb service is very uncommon, as all the other handymen I've worked with in the past in Jason have either been unpleasant, extremely difficult to get in touch with, unreliable, or a combination of all three. We rang Jason, Glasgow Handyman Services and asked if he could build us shelves for our wardrobe, Jason turned up on the day he said he would and at the time he said he would, he started work straight away and worked consistently all day and did a full day, Jason was polite and respectful of our property,and asked us how we wanted the shelves to look and where I wanted them etc. Not like some builders that just go ahead a do it the way they want. When the shelves were finished Jason asked us if we were happy with the job, which we were very happy with, he has done an excellent job, his attention to detail and workman ship we could not fault. To be honest the wardrobe is now looking amazing. This the third job Jason has done for us,as he always does a good job, We would recommend Jason to any one and will be asking Jason to do any other jobs for us in the future. On both occasions, Jason took the effort to walk me through the problem and the solution (so that I'm equipped to fix it myself in future) while also being mindful of the time. I'm pleased to find such a reliable service, with such reasonable prices. I'll certainly be using them in the future, and with all the lovely little surprises that come with a new flat, I'm sure it won't be long. He was punctual, friendly and worked really quickly, which also meant the job didn't cost me a fortune! Glasgow Handyman Services are the friendliest, most helpful and most efficient Handy Men in Glasgow. They always explain the work in advance so I understand exactly what is going on. Could not have asked for a better service! From booking in to completing the job and paying all staff members were friendly, helpful and made me feel at ease as a DIY novice. Charlie was exceptional, and being a multi-trader meant that my minor plumbing issue, electrical light switch change and handyman jobs could all be done at the same time, I couldn't have wished for a more convenient experience. The door to my bedroom broke last week and I was not able to enter it without the professional help of a handyman. I did not have much time for researches online and pretty much chose Glasgow Handyman Services on the spot, but I can say I was content with the service I received. He arrived at the time he said he would and didn'the stop all day until the works were completed. We were very pleased with all the items as they were fitted to a very high standard. I had some plumbing jobs for these guys and the handyman they'd sent me has done a wonderful job. He came with his toolbox, in a jumpsuit, looking exactly the way I'd imagine such technician. He greeted me he started working as soon as I showed him the problematic pipes. I don't know anything about plumbing but I guess he did because he was done in about an hour and the leakage was fixed. was so impressed with the Glasgow Handyman Service. Jason did the work (removing underfloor wires and putting up some shelves) really efficiently. He also suggested using caulk to fill in gaps, which I'd not thought of and I really appreciated the suggestion as it made everything look so much better.
