Cool beach with some spots of sea glass. I think you're not supposed to take any, but we saw people taking them. Have some desolate areas, and some with more sea glass. Big local fishing spot, next to a power plant so water is warm for fish! Not a swimming beach, pretty rocky and some serious swells! Locals are friendly, some nice collection of local found sea glass and such, you can take these for a small donation. Parking is slim, but park at the end of the dirt road!

Definitely not a beach to lounge at or stay very long. It's in the middle of an industrial area. Kind of gimmicky to call it a glass beach now. We didn't find much. I guess a lot has been stolen over the years or washed away. Some little piles here and there that have been previously collected, but for the most part there isn't much to see here.

There are a lot of people living there, it's behind a bunch of factories and off a rough dirt road. The ocean there is pretty rough so don't plan to swim here. There is some glass to see which is cool but it's a quicker stop.

The beach was interesting seeing the sea glass, but it is in an industrial area and not really a nice beach for doing more than searching for sea glass. We had to park up the road. We did see a seal so that was cool.

Beach glass is litter and a testament to humans destroying our ocean. Is there a lot of glass here - YES. It's in small, pebble-sized shards. There's also a lot of broken glass in general from people shattering fresh trash on the beaches. Honestly, all of it should be cleaned up because it's a hazard to wildlife, especially the sharp - clearly new - glass everywhere. I really don't want sea creatures eating glass that they mistake for other critters. Clean, safe beaches for wildlife are more important than having glass waste everywhere. I'm pretty sure there might be a homeless camp here and we had to walk from Captain Andy's parking lot through an industrial area (about 0.4 mile walk) onto a sketchy, unmaintained dirt road littered with garbage. I found this place through Atlas Obscura and honestly, don't bother visiting. It's not safe to walk around on. Visited: January 2023

Honestly so sad. Most of the glass is picked over. Obvious people leave trash. Dead Sea turtle on the shore.

A beautiful place to visit, stretch your legs and drink in the beauty of the coast. Be sure to leave the glass for future generations.

There were three standout moments for us: snorkeling alongside sea turtles, witnessing two incredible pods of dolphins in their natural habitat, and being dipped into the famous fertility waterfall--a memory my husband and I will cherish forever. The Na Pali coastline is absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the towering cliffs and dramatic mountain ranges from the water gives you a whole new appreciation for just how vast, rugged, and remote this part of Kauai truly is. It's incredible to imagine what life must have been like for those who once called this coastline home. We can't recommend Napali Experience enough. Captain Max was incredible--his sense of humor kept us laughing even as the rain and mist rolled in. The playlist on board was spot on, setting the perfect vibe. I wish I could find it on Spotify! Despite the weather, the views were breathtaking, and getting a little drenched just added to the adventure. The food was delicious, especially the smoked pork, salad, and fresh fruit, and my husband loved the mai tais. Even without the sunset, the whole experience was magical. After chatting with other travelers, I'm convinced we had one of the best tours available. especially after talking to a couple at our hotel pool who had paid more than we did and only got snacks limited alcohol. I can't recommend Holo Holo Charters enough, and I'm already looking forward to trying their breakfast or snorkel cruise next time. If you're looking for an amazing adventure, this is it!

Captain Kai was competent, informative, and very funny, as was crewmember Vayden, and Collin's mai tais are not to be missed. The food onboard was delicious and included traditional Hawaiian pulled pork and teriyaki chicken. Scrumptious cookies and bubbly rounded out the evening. Some things to be aware of: This cruise is on a catamaran; some of our party were expecting a small cruise ship that would have been a smoother ride. Waves are bumpy, and the windier parts of the trip resembled a mild roller coaster--if that's not your thing or you know you can experience some motion sickness, please factor that into your decision to book a trip. That being said, one person in our party experienced some light motion sickness and was really well cared for by the crew. We really appreciated their kindness and support. If you have sturdy sea legs and an adventurous spirit, I'd highly recommend this excursion. The views of Kauai from the ocean are worth it alone, but the information from the captain and crew about the island and its culture are also super valuable. The whole experience also felt very safe; the cruise will not go to areas with high wind/surf, and on our trip the captain explained why he was turning out of the wind/waves when he made that decision.
