I have worked with Jim on two different occasions, and each one was great. He filed my separation…read moreand divorce paperwork for me (back when he only did divorces), and even refiled paperwork with the judge at no cost to me, because he wanted to be sure the dates of my filing were correct (my case was extremely time-sensitive). Communications to him were largely ignored but he's very quick to collect payments. Often, he charges the client all kinds of nonsense administrative fees. If these fees were ever questioned, then he'll charge additional fees for his response. The disruptive cycle drags on while very little attention is devoted to the actual case. It's this type of irresponsible and selfish practice that gives many lawyers a bad name.
