They then moved the town a few miles north when a big railroad was built, this is now New Boston. Boston was renamed Old Boston and hence the local adage of "Three Bostons."

The penne was bursting with bold flavor--the grilled chicken was tender, the cherry peppers added the perfect kick, and the feta and spinach balanced beautifully with the spicy (not too spicy) pomodoro sauce. It was vibrant, fresh, and perfectly cooked. My 12 year old son wanted to order from the main menu and ordered the Alla Crema. Of course I snuck a bit of everyone's food. The fettuccine was rich, indulgent, and perfectly cooked. The Gorgonzola cream sauce paired perfectly with the grilled chicken, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes, creating a deep, savory flavor in every bite. My 10 year old son ordered the KIDS spaghetti and meatball. He and I both agree that it was delicious. The meatballs were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The portion felt more like a main menu size portion. He took half to go! My girlfriend ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare. It was flawless--Perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. The service matched the quality of the food. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Drinks were refilled promptly, the timing of each course was perfect, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we sat down. I made my first trip in 2010 and fell in love with Jefferson but, returning in 2026, it's obvious that this town and its people have made a concerted effort to become a tourist destination and they have knocked it out of the park. Full of Bed and Breakfasts that are wonderfully maintained and so welcoming that it's actually hard to find breakfast otherwise in town. Much is closed early in the week but the weekends are hoppin' here.

One of those is this fountain of imported Carrara marble on the city's central plaza. The fountain was built between 1924-1927 and was constructed with imported Italian Cararra marble.
