Went in for expensive windshield replacement. Easy appointment, easy drop off, easy pick up but had to go back 3 straight times for air leaks and squeaks/crackling noises, which they never fixed. Won't go back and try yet again because it eats up too much time and I don't trust them any more. They lost my future business that's for sure. read more

Twenty plus years ago I popped into GlassMasters for a windshield replacement on my personal vehicle. I will admit I called around first for pricing, they were the cheapest. Service was great! Been using GlassMasters ever since for both business and personal. Business-wise, the mobile crew comes every couple years and changes a number of windshields - fast, efficient and courteous and more than reasonable pricing. On the personal side. I walked into the Chinook shop the other day, asked Joe if he could take care of a windshield chip. I know this shop is busy and expecting an appointment, "Do you have half an hour?" A friend recommended GlassMastees to me because they are really affordable. I got a quote from them and a couple other places too. GlassMasters was $30 cheaper than the other places I called. They were able to give me a quote within minutes and were able to book me in for the next morning. They also have mobile service which I loved! They came to my work and changed my windshield in the parking lot while I was working-very convenient! On Dec 20, 2021, My friend's car side glass was broken, we called Glassmasters and tell the lady car model number and type of the car and made an appointment and went the south side of Edmonton, however, the service guy told us that there was no appointment and told us to west branch, but when we arrived the west branch, the front guy told us that there was no stock, it's so cold that day, my friend got sick due to the cold weather. Today is Jan 3, 2022, the glass was not fixed yet, I called them again, the guy told me that the glass was received, however the holder was broken, they need order the holder and we need wait another week. Got a small rock chip on my trucks windshield and attempted to have the chip filled today before closing. Arrived 15 minutes before closing asking if they had someone that could fill the small chip. The woman at the front desk indicated that they were closing soon and would not look at it... Highly recommend! Late one night I Used the online service to get a quote and by 6:55am the next morning I had the quote. Price was very reasonable ... $50 discount since I used the online! Within the quote was a link to book online so I used it to book my appointment ... which I was able to get the very next day. I went in for my appointment and was greeted by name ... very nice touch! He then confirmed what I was having replaced, the price and told me it would be about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I went back after 2 hours and my car was finished ready and waiting for me. I was told what to do and what not to do for the next 24hrs, given my bill and then sent on my way. My car was clean on the inside which is always nice after having been worked on. Like the instant quote and online reservation capability. Have had two windshields replaced in 2 years, both requiring return visits. First was black stuff (adhesive?) wiped on the seats. They did clean it off adequately. The second time, the technician left a rain sensor part on the floor. I called to inquire if it was replaced and they requested I come back in with the vehicle. Upon arriving, the technician confirmed it was scrap. A simple confirmation over the phone would have saved me two hours out of my day (for a 30 second confirmation). read more

Replaced the windshield on my wife's vehicle here. The service was top notch and the vehicle was done on time. The cost was about $100 cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere. I even got a nasty chip fixed on my own vehicle when we picked up my wife's car. They oferred to give me a ride to work, but I took the ctrain downtown since the LRT station is just steps away. Getting a new windshield is never fun but seems necessary in Calgary. Almost a yearly basis. This was my first time at glass masters and they were efficient,friendly and inexpensive. The new windshield was installed in less than 2 1/2 and when I went to the wrong location for my appointment, they were extremely accommodating and honoured the appointment (very cool of them to do) without making me drive to the other location. AVOID !!!! the Center St. South location. Clearly POOR OWNERSHIP & MANAGMENT! Probably the worst windshield replacement experience I've ever had. Disorganized chaos - staff arguing & bitching about each other in front of customers in the waiting area. Zero professionalism. The 2 Hour waiting time I was advised of - turned into 3.5 hours. When they were finally done with my windshield, I checked it over before leaving, and noticed the moulding seal by the wiper blades wasn't sealed or laying flat to the windshield glass. They left muddy shoe prints on the floor of driver & passenger sides, dirty handprints along the interior fabric by the windshield, and there was crap all over the dashboard. I went back in to complain.... the front desk guy comes out and says the seal will lay flat if I park it in the sun for awhile !! Seriously !?!?! I insist he fix it and clean up the vehicle, so he goes and gets a tech from the back.... Yikes this poor guy was either high or needin to get high !!! He admits he broke the seal clips .... wipes up the mud and splits. The front desk guy says he'll order the clips and the mobile unit will come to me to fix it up ..... that was 3 weeks ago.... I have called 4 times and spoken to someone different each time.... giving them the SAME info over & over.... still no resolution. Goin to Speedy Auto Glass next time and savin myself the aggravation of this place !!! read more

They replaced my window but left my car filthy! There was marks on my hood where they put their tools, lots of glass fibre dust all over the inside of my vehicle, black streaks on my light grey interior, my door panels were streaked with black marks....They didn't even call me when the job was done. When we asked them what happened they accused us of bringing the car like that when it was never like that, he even laughed at our faces when we said it wasn't. Glassmasters is great. Few months ago heard a radio ad of 92.9X about Glassmasters offering free chip repairs when you like their Facebook page. Of course I immediately went and did this (as I had a chip needing repair). Visited them and they fixed it up quickly, no questions asked and best yet, for free. Yesterday another rock hit me and resulted in a sizeable crack. Took it to them and they replaced the windshield fast, friendly and for a very reasonable cost. Great glass guys. read more

I thought the customer service was good until I got my windshield done on my truck. My wife replaced her Mercedes windshield here a while ago and they did a good job. However, on my truck they broke a couple of plastic snaps when installing my windshield. They said they would order the parts but I never heard from them after following up several times. Overall poor customer service and I won't be using them again. read more

This was the worst experience that I have ever had. It took them three times and over three weeks to get it correct. The first time they put in the wrong windshield and killed my battery that I then had to replace after they had to give me a jump start. The second time they asked me to come back to switch it out it took them half a day to call me with the news that they didn't have the correct windshield and this is after they told me they did. They then told me they would call me when the glass arrived They didn't call I had to call them to see if the glass had arrived. They finally got it correct on the third time over three weeks later. The worst thing is they didn't offer an apology. I will never go back and I will never recommend this place. What a disappointment and a huge waist of time. read more

I went to glass masters to get my driver side window repaired in September. It was a brand new car at the time purchased in August. They replaced the window and managed to brake the lock system in my car as well as panels on the door and the door handle. When picking up my car I had two gentlemen both tel me it was the dealership that everything or that the glass from the window had "shredded" my locks. Everything in my car had worked perfectly fine before I took it to glass masters, before the broken window and even when the window was broken. I wrote an email to glass masters explaining in detail, with pictures what they had broken, and explained that my locks no longer worked in my new car. I never even received a reply back.horrible service, they caused more problems than solutions and they have a complete disregard for their customers. They really just don't care. read more

Second time at Glassmasters NE location, second time disappointed. First time, they didn't replace the clips to the window molding. Second time, (I needed a windshield fast and cheap because of a fast growing crack) they left patches of black adhesive on the front quarter panel of my 6 month old Camaro, a mess on the dashboard, and a week later I find their tool under my hood. When I take it back and ask it's their tool, they say "ya" and think it's a big joke.
