It's a great spot to stay on the Mornington Peninsula it's quite central and an easy drive to the wineries of the region. Denise and Doug are super friendly and thoughtful hosts who have fitted and furnished the studio to a high standard and with a lot of care. The studio is modern and spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette (gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, full size fridge, microwave etc). The bed is super comfortable, the shower is great and Foxtel with a flat screen TV is a bonus! We loved the soft fluffy towels and lovely bed linens. This is a great option for a stay on the Mornington Peninsula!

The holes are spread out and spacious, having a buggy probably wouldn't hurt as this course is quite large. At some holes a view of the sea can be seen, I spend more time just standing and gazing at my surroundings instead of watching where my ball lands. I would say this is a relatively difficult course, it has a lot of inclines/declines and bunkers. The driving range here is on an open field where you hit straight off the ground. The stand out quality of this course is its grass, the green is so well maintained you could swear it were carpet. Cape Shank also has a restaurant on site that offers great quality food. This is a wonderful little resort that acts as a perfect weekend escape.

This is 2 unit floors with 3 bed rooms at ground floor and two bath rooms with whirlpools. And 1 bed room at upstair which has the best view. Unit complete with barbie tools, cutleries, entertainments such as movie, game boards for parents and kids. You just need to bring your own clothes. And the best part, of course the view it self, facing to the sea. It is worth for money.

There are big name acts that roll through town to play gigs to entertain the older crowd, and there is a small play centre to entertain the youngest in the crowd. The staff are friendly and really welcoming to the tourists, which might not be surprising for most but I've stepped into some small town pubs who want nothing to do with you if you're not a local. Definitely not the case here. There's a huge bistro offering a generous menu. You'll pay around $25 for a meal but you'll get a big serving plated beautiful and the food is delicious. The boys in our group all got the HUGE Westernport parma and the girls had to listen to their groans of delight as they polished them off. I opted for the salt & pepper calamari because I saw it being plated up as I was waiting to order and it looked divine. And it wasn't just presented beautifully, it was SO tasty. Light and fresh, no chewy or stringy bits, and just like the parma the serving was so generous I couldn't finish it. There's a large bar and beer garden too. Pints are about $10 and spirits are $8.50. And bands play every Saturday night including big names such as The Beautiful Girls and 360. If you're heading to Phillip Island for a weekend away I definitely recommend trying the Westernport for lunch or dinner and admiring the scenery.
