We spent the night in the Sea Breeze B and B,which made our trip even more enjoyable.The owners were very warm and friendly.they built this beautiful family home on a plot of land two years ago,and hire rooms to holiday makers.The rooms are modern,clean and fantastically furnished and bathrooms and ensuites beautiful. They provide wi fi and a lovely garden and conservatory to sit ,and the "ulster" fry ,along with juices, breads,toasts,fruit,cereals,tea/coffee was delicious. A great place to stay will definetely return

Although I did find the Carrick -a-rede rope bridge and Dunluce Castle slightly more interesting The causeway is a nice stop for a midday meal particularly because they allow you to use your parking pass for a rebate on the restaurant bill. Just remember to bring your stub in. Ireland is not really known I think for its iced coffee drinks so probably steer clear of ordering an Iced latte. Not horrible, but not great. The food however, was pretty tasty. We got the Carmelized onion and goat cheese tart And the Pan seared Rockville farm chicken. Both were done well, and the price is paid. If you can eat in the back of the restaurant, it probably has slightly more character as the front has windows only looking out to the parking lot. Parking is free for guest of the hotel. Otherwise you pay 10 pounds.

A great place to stay if you want to see Giant's Causeway and also a nice "home base" if you want to explore Northern Ireland.

So, he got his car and drove us to the harbor area so that we could get dinner before their kitchens closed. The location is actually really close to the center. We were able to walk back just fine. The hotel itself is adorable. It was very clean and welcoming and the Irish breakfast ensured our group would start off the day happy. I highly recommend Anvershiel House.

The inside is warm, homely and inviting with broad wood beams along the ceiling and just a generally olde world feeling. The food is amazing and I can highly reccommend the steak and guiness pie. All meals are beautifully presented and good sized portions. You wouldnt get much change from £50 for a meal for two but I think for food and atmosphere like the one at The Bushtown its perfectly reasonable. The staff are very helpful and accommadating to your needs. Children welcome and disabled access available. They also host wedding receptions frequently and have live bands in one or two nights a week. During the summer they will also have some stage shows for the younger kids to attend.

I came across this place, and to be honet nearly didn't book it, becauase I have never stayed in a hostel before in my life, and didn't think I ever would, however I came across some other reviews online and decided to give it a go, but just for one night, just in case. We arrived and found the place no problem, and got parked in the same street. We went inside and were greeted by the owner who talked us through everything and showed us where everything was. What struck me was how spotless the place was, it was a very highly maintained property, which in my prejudice, I hadn't been excpecting. Our room was basic but has everything we needed, and we had a great time in Portrush at a fraction of the cost!

The house is beautiful, I love the decor and amazing collection of items they have from their travels. Bob was a fantastic host and welcomed us with tea and conversation. He was very helpful with attraction and food recommendations. The bedroom and bathroom was clean and very comfortable. We had a great view from our bedroom window. The house is in a central location to everything we wanted to do. Just a few miles from the rope bridge, Giant's Causeway and the Dark Hedges. There are few few small towns nearby in either direction with options for food and drink. One of my favorite things of staying here was having Bob's delicious breakfast. The food was great and the breakfast room was gorgeous. I would love to come back and stay here again, this house and the area were my favorite of my whole vacation.

We definitely recommend you stay there for more than one night. We tried to do just one night and that simply wasn't enough, so we stayed a second night. Thanks for everything! The people running the place are the nicest host you could imagine. The place is magnificent with a breathtaking scenery ! It's not far away from the Giant's Causeway, a mythical place and the neighbourhood is a great place for someone who loves nature and peaceful walks. It's not very far either from Donegal, thanks to a boat which will carry your car and yourself from one place (i.e. Northern ireland) to the other (Eire). We're looking forward to come back (but not too often otherwise we would end in staying there and not returning home (France it is).
