Fair warning this museum is based on creationism and view of Noahs arc. They have wonderful specimens and if you know your Bible you'll love it if you don't catch up and the wonderful part is there's a free museum next-door so you can do two for one for the price of eight dollars and the elderly and the children get a discount kids under two are free and they have a nice orchestra and the south is very nice and accommodating. read more

For a small town, this dinosaur exhibit museum is impressive and modern. The prices are very reasonable and when you enter, they do explain to you that it's from a biblical standpoint. The staff was very pleasant and greeted us when we walked in. She even asked if our son would like to participate in a fun game of scavenger hunt and when it was done, they get a cute Little Paleontologist button. Keep in mind that this museum incorporates bible teachings and stories in their descriptions. Definitely worth stopping to visit. read more

This is not a real museum! There is no indication from outside that it is a religious institution and going inside with young kids then having to turn around and leave is extremely disappointing, however I will NOT spend money to be preached to or have my children confused by lies about dinosaurs existing 2000 years ago among humans! read more

I visited this museum while visiting my brother's family earlier this month. I have to admit that there are some legitimately cool exhibits here, but it's hard to fully appreciate those when you run into a model of Noah's ark surrounded by humans and dinosaurs who apparently coexist together. They even go so far as to place animals that're more familiar to us now alongside prehistoric animals in a sad effort to "prove" their anti-evolution stance and their belief that Earth isn't as old as science claims. That said, I won't one-star the place, because some of the exhibits are cool, and the staff is nice. This place is probably enjoyable for kids, but I simultaneously feel bad thinking of how a place like this could confuse kids. read more

Many reviews are negative because of the creation belief to this museum. None of that bothered me. The man in the front explained their view before we bought tickets. Go for the dinosaurs and don't read the rest if you don't agree. My young kids loved it. There were great displays of different dinosaurs. The staff were very friendly and came around and asked if you had questions and helped the kids with a scavenger hunt. No one in the museum was trying to push their beliefs on to anyone while we were there. They were just talking about the dinosaurs. read more

Wonderful place with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Especially if you are at all curious about creation science(the Bible's account of creation) Glendive Dinosaur museum is the place to ask your hard questions. Contrary to what other reviewers have said, creation science is valid science that can answer the questions of its toughest critics. Even if you believe the secular view of the earths origins, there is much to be fascinated by at this museum. There are many actual dinosaur bones, and you can even take part in a pre-scheduled digs for bones! This area of Montana has many dinosaur fossils and the staff knows a lot about the history of the area. Totally worth your time and the kids will love it! I take my daughter every year. There is a nice gift shop with lots of fun dinosaur-themed toys and books for kids. For a small town in a rural area, this museum is very well done. read more

This was awesome, awesome, awesome! It's easy to find right off the interstate. No one can miss the huge dinosaur head coming out the side of the building! Very affordable. Adults $7 and students 13 and above $6. They tell you when you buy your tickets that these exhibits are from a biblical standpoint. The exhibits are awesome and there are a LOT of them! A lot! You could easily spend half the day in here reading about all the exhibits. The workers here are absolutely wonderful! Very welcoming and they walk around throughout the museum to tell you about all the exhibits. They are very informative. If I could give this museum 100 stars I would!! I loved it. My son loved it even more and I work recommend anyone that's even remotely close to this museum to stop by and check it out! read more

They did not allow photos so sadly I don't have any to post, but this place is an absolute gem in the little town of Glendive!! Amazing fossils and displays of dinosaurs and the earths history. They had a triceratops skeleton that had just recently been found you could see through a window into the pre lab. All the pieces were being cleaned, casted, etc. It was a very fun experience and I highly recommend a stop here for all adults and kids! I'd block out at least an hour to see all the cool stuff as it's 2 stories of fossils! read more

This museum is well organized and fun for young children as well as adults. It is based on a creation viewpoint, with several knowledgeable staffers willing to talk about the different displays. If you want to see lots of dinosaur bones, this is the place to go! There are many displays, lovely paintings, it is a great experience for all. My children love that there are displays at their level, as well as hands-on display bones to see and feel. We go at least once a year. read more

So first off, this is a christian institution. It is owned by the foundation for advancing christian truth. It is oozing money and looks flashy and fun. If you are a christian who believes the earth is truly only 6000 years old and you like finding obscure snippets of science to try and fit inside your belief structure then you will love it here. If you think dinosaurs roamed the earth with humans ( because, DUH, who wouldn't want that) and find no problem whatsoever believing that even though you don't believe in unicorns or dragons or manticores then you've found the perfect museum for you! If you are a christian but are smart enough to actually follow tried and true scientific facts you'll be OK here. It is fairly easy to stick to appreciating the 300 year old Torah scrolls and expensive dinosaur statues and ignore the plaques insisting that animals obviously didn't eat meat until AFTER Noah's ark and THAT is how dinosaurs and other predators lasted for 40 days on the ark without ripping everyone to shreds. I think it would be rather fun to see a raptor chillin' with the bunnies, maybe playing cards while they wile away the time. If you are a hard core science person, this is NOT the place for you. This museum is basing their facts on vague correlations while ignoring others that don't align with their belief system. If I was a normal Christian I'd be embarrassed that this place is associated with my religion. They are like global warming deniers. The only fun part might be to have a factual debate with one of the docents...though they are just spouting doctrine and I don't think they know much about the bible or science besides what tjwyve been told by this museum. Fun for kids who clearly don't have a concept of what 30million years is anyway and just want to look at giant dinos. Oh, it is pricey too. read more

The museum is not a "mom & pop" museum. It is very well laid out. They are very upfront with you as they tell you when you're paying the entrance fees that the displays are based on Biblical account. For the one critic so far, needs to read the Bible for they were on the Ark a lot longer than 40 days... :) Interesting hit that it was "pricey" - it's cheaper than going to a movie and a whole lot more informative. $8 for ages 13+, $6 for ages 3-12. That's pretty reasonable if you ask me. Great staff! Very helpful, informative and easy to converse with. read more

Granddaughter came from Bismarck and had a wonderful time here she didn't want to leave. We spent almost 2 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. read more
