When I called to ask if they could unlock the doors, they said they would call 'the city'. Why can't they unlock their own doors? There are also a ton of Canadian geese throughout the course. You should use a golf cart instead of walking unless you don't mind stepping into Canadian geese poop. It is ALL over and really disgusting. The owner should invest in a nin-toxic chemical to quickly dissolve the poop. Nothing spectacular this is an average place that fits the bill.

We started working with coordinator Lexi and she was so sweet however she did not really know what she was doing but as a young couple we trusted her word and went along with what she was saying. I was so very lucky to have my mom by my side but unfortunately I wanted to show her I could do this myself and I wanted her to walk in on my wedding day surprised. Biggest mistake I made!!! What I'm about to explain next is in summary because I can type pages and pages on what happen to me towards the coming weeks leading up to our wedding "which to me the last couple weeks are Crucial" I have actual dates and times all documented, however I can't go that much into detail. Just over all I don't RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO EVER GET MARRIED HERE!!!!! You are making the biggest mistake if you do! 2 months prior to our wedding I e-mailed Lexi because I hade a couple questions and I did not hear back for 3 days with a response of " Ms. my last name Lexi no longer works here, but don't worry we have you covered" Ironically the new event coordinator has my name Janel. Janel was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE from the start very fake and put on a front when I was at the the club and completely different over the phone and e-mail. (She would respond to me days later and would respond to my e-mails anywhere from 12am-2am). Janel was very difficult to work with left me very overwhelmed and left me in tears multiple times just weeks leading up to my big day. Calling The country club and Janel was ALWAYS very challenging I never herd back from anyone if so it took days. When I had set appointments to meet with Janel she was always late and never organized! I was promised by Lexi the previous coordinator that we would have the facility to get ready as early as we needed it. My makeup and hair artist were arriving at 8am and when I told Janel that her response was "that's early and probably can't happen" i of course freaked out and needed to find a back up plan for getting ready, however TWO days prior she said I was cleared to come in at 8am" When I needed to call Janel she would NEVER PICK up and an excuse was given to me as to why. I e-mailed Janel the day before our rehearsal stressing to her how stressful she has made this experience for me and I begged her to please help make things go smoothly the next couple days. Her response a day later 3 hours before our rehearsal was "I understand my daughter also deals with anxiety however try to hang in there and I'm sorry I won't be at your rehearsal this evening". WOW I was in shock I needed her there I needed her help, but thank god for our pastor things went as smooth as they could go. We did not receive our final invoice until the Thursday before because Janel made minor mistakes that needed to be adjusted and changed. We should of had that 2 weeks prior!!! Now here we are on Saturday morning I was a nervous wreck hoping things will work out. I did not see Janel once that day until after I walked down the aisle, and that was only once. I can't express enough if it was not for my day of coordinator and my mom my day would of been an absolute disaster. I walked into a fairytale wedding because of my mom, florist and day of coordinator. And I'm forever grateful for that. Janel approached my mom during the reception with family around with a payment question which was so unprofessional and could of be dealt with after the wedding. There is so much more I can explain and give examples of how poorly things were done on behalf of Plum Hollow but I am grateful for how my day turned out because of my mom and day of coordinator. I can't stress enough don't get married here because you will regret it and be left so overwhelmed and anxious leading up to your big day. The general manager Dave was such a pleasure to work with, however Janel and her husband Rick the manager of plum hollow not so much. Janel was so unpleasant, unprofessional, and beyond phony. I hope this information helps anyone who is interested in planning there wedding here. It is shame for Country Club that has been in business for years to have such awful customer service!!!

During the summer the rates are a bit high for 18 but that's the same everywhere these days! The difficulty level here is not high and the greens roll consistent. This is a beautiful country club and a perfect location for a wedding reception. I was fortunate to…read morebe the maid of honor for my best friend. The grounds and the indoor space is absolutely gorgeous! Most of the servers during dinner were really pleasant and had the most beautiful smiles. The food tasted great too! I do have one concern about the person in charge of communicating with the bride and making sure things go smoothly. Jennifer did not do the job as one would expect. As an observer, I was upset to hear this exchange as the bride is trying to enjoy the beginning of her dinner festivities. Just before the dinner was to be served, she reprimanded the bride that she forgot to include the names with each plate to be delivered. She said, "since you didn't include the names, we now have to deliver asking each person what they ordered. That's not something we are accustomed to doing and it's not something we want to do!" Jennifer should be protecting the bride from the stresses that may occur but instead did the unthinkable in my opinion. It was rude and certainly not the way a bride should be spoken to, let alone make her feel so bad just before dinner. It left the bride visibly upset and it was hard for her to get it out of her head and continue. I'm guessing this position may not be the best for Jennifer, especially if she has a history of speaking to other brides this way. The customer is always right, telling the bride she did something wrong is not part of the deal.
