Ken and his crew ( for us Jae and Miles) were amazing. Ken designed our dream patio and worked with us to maintain our budget and obtain our esthetic goals. Our patio is 97% completed and we are very happy with outcome ( pics are coming once all complete). It started when we purchased a pool and hot tub from Spring Spa of Eugene. We wanted a patio that incorporated the investment into a spa like retreat . We needed full scale demolition and a build to level a seven foot slope. Ken and crew created a beautiful rock reinforced wall to hold the patio alongside beautiful design and hardscape. Ken designed and planted beautiful plants & trees that supported the overall plan . I had Glenn Landscape come and give me an estimate for a 4' wall and stairs. His estimate was about the same as another I got, but he was able to fit me in between other jobs the following week, and he seemed quite professional. The job started on time, Chris and Seth worked hard and knew what they were doing. They also sent me progress photos when I was out of town. Job took about a week. While looking to have my lawn replaced, it took me 3 separate phone calls to get an appointment set up with Glenn Landscape Services. Although frustrated with this, I was persistent because with all of their vehicles I see driving around, I figured they had to be doing something right. I finally set up an appointment, and took time out of my day to meet them. The owner (Ken Glenn) shows up in shorts and flip flops like he was on his way to the beach, with no note pad or any other method of keeping track of our conversation. We discuss my project, and he states he will get back to me with a bid. I never heard from them again. This company is unprofessional, and not worth your time. read more

They were able to bring in the trucks and earth moving equipment without harming the existing trees on the property. We hired Glenn Landscaping to do a complete remodel of our yard this summer and couldn't be more thrilled with the final result. Our large property was minimally landscaped with a large water drainage issue and poor grass. Not only did the owner design our new yard, but worked countless hours on the property himself to make sure the job was done to his satisfaction. I was continuously impressed with the entire crew. They were knowledgeable, worked nearly non-stop (barely stopping to eat), worked efficiently, and had great attitudes. They took the time to answer our questions and were always willing to make adjustments to our plan as the project progressed. When we went over the proposed budget, the owner went out of his way to minimize the financial effect. Now that it has been a few months since the conclusion of the project and the rains are starting, I can now see that the drainage issue we had been struggling with has been completely resolved and the plantings the owner designed are still blooming, strong, and beautiful. For the few plantings that did not survive, he has guaranteed he will replace them for us. His crew comes weekly to maintain our new landscaping and are still taking care of us, making sure we remained pleased with their work. I couldn't recommend Glenn Landscaping more highly. Glenn Landscape Services recently finished our complete landscape remodel in both our front and back yards. We could not be more happy with the finished product. When choosing between multiple landscape contractors, Ken Glenn took time to come over and discuss with us what we wanted and what he thought would look best for our yard. He is extremely detailed and very knowledgeable with all that goes into creating a new, beautiful landscape. This one post needs to be removed or updated. Thirteen years ago Ken did our landscape work. We were totally thrilled with everything. This year we have hired Ken again to come in and correct things we did and didn't like and to design two new areas. He is doing even more than that adding a dry well to help drain a low spot. Ken and his son are amazing. They show up on time. Work hard all day in freezing and foggy weather. I contacted Glenn for landscaping services. Ken Glenn came out. He was very abrupt when he spoke. Was very unprofessional! He said he would mail me a quote/bid. I never got one. So, I called them back...I got voicemail multiple times! I called and called. They NEVER returned my calls. A few weeks later I was walking down a street and Ken was talking with a gentleman about his yard...he saw me and went A's day in his truck until I had passed by. Our lawn was in desperate need of repair. Found the Glenn Landscaping website online and was contacted the following day. The owner personally came out and did an assessment. When weather was appropriate the crew came out and took out the old lawn, prepped new compost and dirt and laid new sod. They were very friendly and made sure the area was clean before their departure. The new lawn looks super!! One of the crew also came over on the weekend (while he thought we were out of town) to make sure the lawn was watered. Totally satisfied with the service, professionalism. Best experience ever!! I was immediately impressed with the owner, Ken Glen, when we had our first meeting. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of landscaping, water features and construction. Once we had agreed on our concept, Glen Landscaping was on the job until it was completed. Most days I received phone calls from Ken or text messages with pictures when projects were being completed. Not once did I ever have to call and question what was going on. I was consistently informed by Ken or Tony who was also great to work with. Ken Glen truly made us feel like he was working in his own yard with the personal touches and ideas he proposed to us. Never once did we question if corners were being cut or did we ever feel as if he was rushing just to get to the next job. Truly a great company to work with. I would highly recommend!!! read more
