When I met her for shopping, I made some quick judgements about some of the items she picked out, thinking, "I'll never wear that." But much to my surprise, those items looked great. Margo nicely pushed me out of my comfort zone/rut of wearing the same colors (hello navy and black!) or buying 3 of one item. She also taught me why some things were unflattering and how to pick things that would be, how to know which jeans would fit best, and how to accessorize. I went from wearing about 20% of my clothing 100% of the time (and not feeling so great in it) to 100% of my clothing 100% of the time, and feeling much more confident about how i was presenting myself. Margo was really fun to work with, and although I wasn't sure how it would be shopping with a stylist, it felt like shopping with a girlfriend who was honest, helpful, and fun to be around. I was on a budget and didn't purchase everything that we found, but she did help me find plenty of great pieces and I got an idea of what sorts of brands and styles were a good fit for me. We met three times over the course of a month or two - once for the closet audit, once for the shopping trip, and once for her to put together some outfits with what we bought (she encouraged me to take photos of the outfits, and it's been a lifesaver). My daughter and her husband live in Portland and they just had their first baby. That way I can help my daughters family out as they are navigating having a newborn in the house. I was lucky enough to find KAT and her amazing customer service that helped us so much and continues to do so. For a short period of time after the baby was born I happened to be in Portland and during that time Kat took care of delivering groceries to us a few times, as a matter of fact with the first delivery she also left a lovely card congratulating my daughter and son-in-law on the birth of their son. It was a very lovely touch. I've since been back in Southern California but I continue to use Kat to help them With delivery of their groceries. She calls or texts from the store if something needs to be substituted, she's always very kind in her communications, and is also very aware not to knock on the door at my daughters house in case the baby is asleep. Kat's delivery service is just an all-around 10 if you are looking for some help. I can't imagine anybody being better.
