When my Bay Area attorney decided it was impractical to handle a case in Los Angeles, he put me in touch with Glickman and Glickman. As a previous reviewer mentioned, Steve Glickman and his father David are well known and respected in the legal community. Early in my case, their firm assumed the cost of an expensive scientific procedure. That's one example of how they put the client first. I have not had the privilege of meeting David or Mr. Shepard but I can attest that Steve, besides being thorough, adds the personal touch and always maintains a sense of humor. Steve's assistant is also very on top of things and easy to work with. Many of their clients are people who could not ordinarily afford an attorney. Validity of the case is what takes precedence. I find it curious that a negative review came from a non-client. The Glickmans will not take a case unless they believe it could be won at trial. I had the worst experience with this firm. On 10/30/13 I contacted his office and spoke to his assistant, Lupe. I let her know that I had a medical malpractice case and could overnight the info for Steve Glickman's review. I went to UPS that afternoon and sent the package overnight. On 11/15/13 I left a message with Lupe to check on the status of the review with Steve. She said she would give him the message to call me. On 12/10/13 I called and spoke to Lupe again and told her he hadn't called me and requested my package be sent back to me. She apologized for Steve not calling me and said she would send my info back to me. On 12/14/13 I received the package with a letter signed by Steve letting me know that my request for my info was enclosed and "wishing me the best". Steve Glickman was highly recommended to me by to very reputable attorneys in Ventura for medical malpractice. I would never recommend anyone to this man. I had a deadline for a court date in March 2014 and needed an attorney asap. I have a exceptional case and found an exceptional attorney.
