They have trouble keeping employees, they will be randomly closed at 3:45pm without a sign on the door stating they apologize for any inconvenience and will be reopened on whatever day. (There was a time that I went there multiple times in one week, only needed one thing and was trying to avoid ordering it from Amazon and waiting for it to be delivered, and every time it was closed. The hours state 8am-8pm. All visits were within these hours. I called the St Germain store and the nice gentleman at that location was not sure what was happening here. When you do actually arrive to find it open you'll find piles of stuff to be stocked everywhere but it just doesn't ever seem like it does actually get put away. It's constantly a disgusting mess.

This store is the best place to get your Three Lakes emblazoned merchandise such as mugs, clothing, and home décor. I like how most of the items have a high quality look to them as opposed to a souvenir look. I got a nice mug that has the Three Lakes Chain depicted on it. Matching coasters are available as well. The items tend to change so it's a good idea to check back in a few months to see if anything is new or if you see something you like be sure and snap it up. Candles, soap, and handbags are available as well. The children's area is not as extensive as what is pictured; however, it is available. The shop always smells so good! They have great cabin decor such as bears, wolves and deer. All I can say if you're north of Antigo traveling by on Hwy 45 then J&P's is a great little stop to stretch the legs and have a look around.
