My best experience so far. Dr. Stewart performed my eye exam and he was excellent! I was not rushed during the exam! I was able to clearly and confidently tell when the letters/images where clear to me during the exam. Dr. Stewart took the time to explain everything about the condition of my eyes as well as recommendations for the types of glasses I should consider based on my occupation and needs. He was very knowledgeable, calm and pleasant to interact with. I left feeling great and I will be returning for my yearly eye exams. Super friendly staff and doctor! My eye exam was quick and thorough, and the doctor was very kind and professional. She even went over my eye scan and showed me what it all meant. It was really informative, and I have never had someone take the time to do that. I was able to get in the same day, and they took my insurance as well. We had a last minute need for an eye exam and by chance my husband found Glimpse. I'm glad he did because this was one of the best experiences I had at an optometrist. It has been hard to find one in the Houston area and I'm glad we found it. We came in for my husband's exam, but ended up getting a new set of glasses for my daughter. They had these cute glasses for kids with cat ears and since they were so great with my husband I decided to get her another pair of glasses. Dr Chen was knowledgeable, pleasant and I could tell he was focused on the customer experience. He took time to double check her current prescription and make sure everything was perfect instead of just rushing the process. There was also someone at the front desk that helped adjust my daughter's glasses and she was very helpful. She showed my kid how to properly take off her glasses and shared what kind of frames she should get next time so they do not slide down her face. I appreciated the time she took to do this. The office is in the Woodlands and I live in Cypress. Even though it is far, I will return for my own exam and glasses. read more

Prettiest optometry office I've ever been in! I love their selection of designer frames, from big box brands to smaller ones that I've never heard of before. Their customer service is amazing and they really take care of their customers from my experience. Clean office and friendly staff. I also love the mural in the lobby. It was so fun! Now onto the actual appointment, I met with Dr. Pham and she is hands down the most amazing eye doctor I have met. I came in for a yearly check in but also to ask about my chronic dry eyes. Dry eyes with contact lenses have always been a thing, but I was given more knowledge about daily disposable lenses. I have only tried them out for a week, but so far the switch from monthly lenses has been great. They also have this cool technology which takes cool pictures of your eyes too. Dr. Pham doesn't leave any questions unanswered, which I value greatly. Will be back without a doubt. read more

We had a fantastic experience taking our 3-year-old autistic son here. My husband and I were concerned that they wouldn't be able to assess his eyes because he has limited speech but Dr. Pham was so patient and kind! She didn't hesitate to do a manual eye exam that doesn't require much speech and she turned on videos for him so she could do what she needed. I came in for a basic eye exam. I chose this place cause it was close by, the interior looked nice, and they had high ratings. The staff was friendly, and Dr. Chen made me feel comfortable since it had been over six years since I've seen an optometrist. I found my new favorite pair of sunglasses! There were a bunch of variety of styles to choose from. Everyone there seemed to really care about their patients and customers. Very professional, kind people - - took very good care of my mother-in-law, who has many health challenges and was unable to perform several of the test in a "typical" way. Glimpse Eye Care is definitely the new spot in town for all your eye care needs! It's located conveniently across from the HEB and there's plenty of parking right outside. Large and spacious showroom with lots of selections available for all budgets. The check in and precheck process was quick and the receptionist were super friendly. I came to Glimpse Eye Care for my annual eye exam and glasses thinking it would just be like any other eye care store. But NOPE! They go above and beyond for sure. Check in process was speedy and the pre-check was super smooth. Dr. Pham did my full exam and my lens fitting shortly after. Had a thorough check-up with Dr. Chen, and learned that my last optometrist had both over-corrected, and had missed a slightly different correction in each eye. The doc got me sorted, explained why that had happened - and gave a pretty fascinating overview of how my eye projects and functions, as well as a specific (positive!) assessment of my eye health. I got a ton of education on this, a correct diagnosis, an order for new glasses and a trial supply of new lenses and was out the door in 40 with no wait. Can't recommend Glimpse enough. read more

Initially I was looking into blue screen lens, but talking with Dr. Chen, he mentioned that it isn't scientifically proven that blue light lens don't really help with eye strain but rather it is the power of the lens to help alleviate the eyes from straining too much. He took the time to listen to my concerns and understand my lifestyle before recommending the perfect glasses for me. I took down my initial review of the place because I know it's a young business and thrive off of the reviews. The motive here is to up-sale. My vision got worse and they said it was better. Frames are 300% over priced. This place was a sale heaven over quality. I went to Woodlands Eye Center and my prescription was totally opposite (which was worse as I suspected) and they never once had me pay. I don't care about the elite location. They actually have you picking a plan to add additional things to your glasses. Staff was rude. I literally had to ask the staff that I have been waiting here to pay for an exam that I couldn't use my insurance for because they could not log in. So unprofessional and blamed me for making an appointment on the weekend and had to pay out of pocket. I am waiting to pay and the latino female was like what else can I help you with. To pay! I could of literally walked out. I had questions about frames. No help. I was treated as it was an inconvenience. Nothing was welcoming. Especially if I am trying to find out what we are doing and they are just on their phone. This was the worst experience I ever had. But thought later maybe they deserve this for ripping people off. They treated me as an inconvenience. Drove there with no call beforehand to tell me they couldn't verify my insurance. I showed them my coverage including a letter of coverage and found myself having to explain. Then the front desk would go back and ask the doctor and said no. I ended up paying for a sh**ty exam. If you leave a five star review here, you got played. I suggest a doctor I went to with 20+ years experience that actually knows what they are doing and takes care of your eyes over sales. My 5 year old needed glasses. My wife took him to 2 doctors in different practices. Both had no patience with children and failed to complete the exam. Luckily I found Dr. Chen. He was really good with my son and had no problems completing his exam. He now has some great looking glasses and can see in class.
