I have always had massage therapy throughout my life: both sports, pre-natal, deep-tissue, and Swedish for relaxation, and had been excited to try Aglow. The past tense word of "had" is appropriate here, as unfortunately although Aglow may be a qualified therapist, her hygiene standards were low, and the far more concerning point is that she had a small sign stating "Brave, unmuzzled, unstoppable American." Yikes! Believe what you want on masks and vaccines, however, there are mandates on mask-wearing for everyone five years and older: for safety both for individuals and community, and stating that as a business owner you are "unmuzzled" is highly unprofessional and not a place I felt comfortable in :( read more

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Came here for a massage while on vacation and could say it was the worst experience I've ever had in a spa. I walked in and the place looked filthy but I thought I'll try anyway since I already had the appointment. The massage therapist was ridiculous The pressure was like my 5-year-old touching my back. Aglow did a great job today with my first visit to her studio. The area is very calm, you can hear the cars below you. But she played music that drowned it out. She worked on my problem areas and I could tell she can feel the areas of tightness and worked on those more in depth. Defintely will be going back again. I think I found my new spot! read more

I'm extremely picky about my massage therapists and was somewhat hesitant to try a new place, after we recently moved. Aglo did an amazing job! The pressure was perfect and she seemed to intuitively know where I needed work. Her office was quiet and clean. She was on time, and had a minimal amount of paperwork for a new client. In my opinion Glo Massage is one of the top massage places in Monroe. Aglow really cares for her clients and doesn't just go through the motions. She always reads my body and pays close attention to how it reacts and gets the spots that I really need worked on. The office is relaxing and clean. I'm new to town and was a little nervous to find someone I could go to for a regular massage. My wife found Aglow on yelp and a bunch of friends bought me several sessions for my birthday. Aglow is professional, caring, with fantastic hands and a multi-disciplined approach to massage which feels great! Her prices are reasonable and she has several discounts available that made it so I can get more regular work. She's also has a background in sports massage which is great for when I've been in the gym or skiing a bunch. I've gone to her several times and feel fantastic every time and bought my wife a few sessions as well. I recommend her and just hope she doesn't get too busy! Glad she's in Monroe! read more

Been here for a couple years now. Started with a sciatic nerve issue and it won't go away. But the massage every month really helps loosen up the back. Especially needed when in construction. Great down to earth massage practitioner. Great deep tissue or relaxing either is relaxing. read more

I have been getting massages with Aglow for several years now. I knew, after the very 1st appointment, she was really good. She did wonders for my back. I have had lots of old injuries, and she seemed to know just where they were, and what to do. (intuition in think) She is the best I have found, and I continue to see her whenever I need a tuneup. Loved the quiet and tranquil atmosphere and the lack of chit chat, which for me takes away from my desire to rest my body AND mind. I almost fell asleep several times I was so relaxed front my massage! Great amount of pressure and emphasis on problem areas. Only improvements I would suggest to make the experience perfect would be to use a cover or pillow for eyes once clients are turned over onto their back, use aroma therapy or offer products specific to the client, and rotate neck side to side to engage more neck and shoulder muscles.
