Glo ticks all the boxes for a nail salon. It is clean! They have a full range of services! It does not feel like a sweat shop! They talk to you about what you want and give you what you ask for. On the second visit they knew my name! The only downside is they can be busy, which can mean a wait. I have spent years trying to get nice fake nails. Now I have found where I can get them, they will create massive pretty things if you want but for me who has weak nails something natural is all I need. read more

I went here last Saturday for a mani/pedi and the experience was a bit underwhelming. I had a french manicure and just polish on my toes. The pedicure was great with a really nice calf massage and scrub and my nails turned out really well and so far have not chipped, but the French manicure was pretty bad. After she had finished there were spots that had not been painted white (that I had to point out) and she had also smudged some of the white colour on the clear part of my nails. It was a messy look and had started chipping by Sunday. For a total of $53 it wasn't even cheap enough to justify. In terms of Hygiene, Glo Nails have good practices using disposable linings for the foot baths and I saw another lady using the autoclave to sterilise equipment. They had a few women come in who seemed to be regulars and the ladies were all polite and happy so maybe they just can't do a French manicure well or that my experience was a one off. read more
