I signed up for the $70/month Glo Tanning membership because I was excited to build a consistent tanning routine (aiming for 3+ visits per week). On my first day, I spent nearly $400 on products that were a great value and covered everything I needed for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, every single visit since then has involved constant upselling and sales pitches for additional products, even after I politely explain that I already have everything I need. The pressure is so persistent that it has made me dread going in. As a result, I've only managed one visit in the past two weeks instead of my goal of multiple sessions per week. The facilities and tanning experience itself are nice, and I want to use my membership, but the aggressive sales tactics are really turning me off and hurting the overall experience. Horrible experience!! Wish I had read the reviews before going. No wonder they have such poor reviews. They have young kids running the place that have absolutely zero customer service experience. 5 people walked out just while I was in line to get information. Not only do they make you sign a contract (which they say is not a contract and you can stop at anytime for $5 which is a lie because I just found out today after I called to cancel and they said it has to be a full month and only after they draft your account for a second month! ) Before all that, what should have been a 20 minute max visit turned into a 2 hour long visit. I had to get undressed 3 times before they finally figured out how to start my bed, even though I told the girl the bed said it was out of water on my first time out! Then I laid in a cold bed for 12 minutes of my 20mins waiting for it to get warm. They said it was supposed to get up to 118 degrees. It only reached 46 degrees. I never even broke a sweat. After I came out they asked how it was and I said it was different. They said yes it is and you can burn up to 300 calories per session. I said I don't see how as it never got hot and I didn't sweat at all. They laughed and said the same line again as if the were a mindless robot and didn't hear anything I just said... I go back a couple of days later thinking I will try one of their tanning beds ( as they said that is what they are known for) only to find out that the month I paid for can only be used ONCE A MONTH!!! Tell me who buys a tanning package they can only use ONCE A MONTH! How stupid are you people!! Don't waste your time here. South beach tan is so much better and the girls they have working there actually know what they are talking about and have a brain. I managed a tanning salon for years and that is not the way to do it if you want to have repeat business. Glo tan you need a lot of work! read more

I love the spa machines and the tanning beds are nice, however, the spray tan machines have an orange formula (they promise the formula has purple undertones) and do not spray evenly, and the prices are out of this world. If they had more deals and coupons, or just lowered their prices (one spray tan is $30...), then I'd go more. But I cannot justify those prices for skin cancer. read more

Very unprofessional environment. I went in for a tan last week and from the moment I stepped in the door, all the women were giving me rude looks, and they seriously lack professionalism. They all had mean girl energy, and for the record their tans were all splotchy lol. I left with a terrible tan and wouldn't wish the experience on anyone. read more

I have been a member for a little over a year. They were really small and only had a few beds. You expected to wait. They have now expanded the space but less employees. Yesterday I waited over an hour for a bed that was just only two minutes out. Only one employee. It was Sunday and Mothers Day. Now today is Monday and still ONLY one person to clean the beds and sign up new clients. read more

When I went in there I was VERY clear that I wanted a ONE time spray tan. After telling not one, not two people NO I did not want to sign up for all these "must have's" a third person literally jumped off the couch and started in on me about needing a monthly membership. I was so frustrated by that point and saying no wasn't getting thru to them, so I just said " Well, I thought this was going to be a quick in and out thing, I'll have to think about it. Had a good experience with glo tanning. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I went in for a spray tan because I had family pictures the next day and was nervous about doing it because they have made me look kinda orange in the past. They recommended a spray tan with a ph balance spray beforehand and it worked great! Great tan, no orange! Looked awesome! Sucks I had to pay extra for it but not the employees fault. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Karsyn even texted me the next day to see if I was happy with it! I was shocked. Really cool. The salon itself was clean. I loved my experience here. I used their first time free coupon and couldn't be happier. The staff were incredibly knowledgable, extremely hospitable and gracious. Bruce and Alexis answered all of my questions about the spa services and spray tanning. I was provided a robe and a bag to keep my clothes in when I went from room to room. Two times I have been here. 1st time the girl with dark hair was rude (after 5) and today at 3... girl was nice but 8 customers came in while I was waiting. I really love this tanning salon. I am from New Jersey so naturally, I love a good tan. This place offers many different packages to fit your tanning needs from UV to spray. Their spray tan machine is pretty even. I have a military schedule so they were really awesome working with my freeze requests. I would recommend this place to all of my friends. read more
