Another billing issue!! Last year, my account wasn't suspended after I spoke to a clerk who told me it would be. Got charged for a month, and we were told it would be credited to my account, but it never was. Earlier this week, I went on a purchase. Was it only I who made two separate purchases, but the cashier was having an issue and ended up charging me twice for one of my purchases. I called Customer Service and left a voicemail. They called back hours later while I was busy. I again explained the issue, and she started telling me what all I purchased. I again explained my problem and told her I was short on time, that their customer service is pitiful, and that I needed to wrap things up. Ended up having to send a screenshot of my charges, and I'm still waiting to hear back. read more

I went to this location today to be greeted with having my first and last name asked and told I was going into a certain bed how long did I want. I was very taken back seeming every other location I have been to never has told me they asked or offered. She said they always do that which I know is not true I have been there several times. The other girl there even stopped in the middle of helping another customer to try to argue with me which I shut down. I will not argue with a teenager. At the end I just feel like if I am paying 80 a month to tan 2 years now that's over 2K I have spent with Glo I should be able to choose my bed. I would have even appreciated if she asked me if she could make a suggestion. Wow customer service at its finest!! read more

They are the worst. I bought a plan and was only allowed to use red light therapy once a month for $21. I called a bunch to customer service and they only cancel through online over the phone you can't just go in and cancel it. (I was moving.) They charged my card again this month and I already canceled it plus they put my name in wrong so it took me forever to get them to "deactivate my account." They don't tell you any of this when signing you up. It's like impossible to explain how angry I am with this company. read more

The longest wait for a no appointment spray tan! There were 3 people in front of me yet I waited for over 45 minutes and watched people come and go constantly while I sat and waited the girl kept telling me she would be with me in a minute yet I still sat and waited!! I've enjoyed the other locations but this one is a joke! Stood in line ten minutes and no one even greeted the five of us waiting * the girl just let the line pile up. When I got up there all the beds were dirty and so there was none to use. Said there was a wait and there was only me and one other lady in the lobby. The girls were so unhelpful and not concerned at all with making us wait. Two employees strolled in one barefoot ewwww and the other had Sonic drinks with her. Just tacky and not spa like at all. This place used to be amazing! Friendly staff, quick service, always clean. A few weeks ago apparently all the wonderful, friendly staff quit. I heard working conditions were terrible! Now it is soooo slow, staff is less than friendly, floor is always nasty and have even found dirty towels in the floor of my room. I'm disappointed. Going here used to be relaxing and fun. I went in on a Saturday wanting to redeem the one feee session on their website. The person working explained it's only good Sunday through Tuesday but said if I wanted to pay for a session I could then use it when I came back in. She was very nice as I explained I used to tan weekly but now because of skin health issues my only option is to try a spray tan. I told her after I use my free session I planned on becoming a member to use the red light therapy bed as well as the cocoon bed hoping they will help my skin issues. So when I went back in today to redeem the free session the girl working had to call 2 different supervisors because the coupon code wouldn't work. She asked me to wait until she heard back then after waiting for a few minutes came and told me because I had paid for a session previously I was not allowed the free session. Very disappointing business practices either they don't train there staff on their policies or they just don't want new business. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Well, I am not one to leave reviews anywhere. But this time something must be said. I have been tanning at glow tanning for many years. Was tanning there when it was purchased by Glo tanning. I am sure that I got grandfathered in on a plan that included a standup bed and a lay down bed. After a couple of months From being purchased by Glo, they removed the laydown tanning beds at almost every location... Finally every location. So that left me with the ability to do stand up tanning only. The first of this month they took out the almost $50 for my tanning. When I went in today, (the 3rd of the month), I waited in line for over 20 minutes. Every bed was dirty, people were sitting, waiting for beds to be cleaned so they could use them. One person was working! When she asked my name, she looked at the computer, then looked up at me and said oh I'm sorry there's nothing that you can do here. We have taken out the standup beds. So that means that there is nothing that I can do at Glo tanning. But on the first of the month they took my payment from my bank account, KNOWING THAT THEY NO LONGER HAVE SERVICES THAT I COULD USE! Were they ever going to notify me?!?!? The girl told me that I would have to upgrade to be able to come there. I said "CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP!" She wrote a number on a piece of paper and said you will have to call to cancel your membership. I feel that this place is poorly managed. It is a waste of time and money. This place pretends to be an elegant spa like experience. It's poorly managed. That's all!... I'm certain that the owners do not care that they lost a customer. read more

I became a member recently. I visited twice before purchasing my package. Best investment I have made on myself in a very long time. The services are amazing, the girls customer service is above and beyond anything I have experienced here in OKC. The atmosphere is off the chain and I feel as tho I am on vacation on every visit. I am never one to write reviews, but oh my goodness this place is crazy. Specifically the one on 63rd. The business model is to absolutely sell you everything they have. If you already have tanning lotion, it's not good enough. You have to buy the intensifier and the face products alone. The Collagen spray. The spray tan spray for before & after... IT'S BS. After refusing to buy face lotion, the lady went on and on about how I was going to get wrinkles and kept shaming me. Like, she would not let it go. After refusing to buy tanning lotion from them on another day, the girl rolled her eyes and told me that other tanning lotions that aren't from GLO are going to BREAK THE TANNING BED??? Excuse me, what? I just want to go in, tan, get out. I am absolutely NOT a Karen, (I'm actually only 23 and tanning for 2 months for an event then I'm done) but every time I go to simply check-in for a tanning session, I nearly go full Karen mode on these people.
