The environment here is very family oriented and welcoming, unlike some martial arts facilities that might give a sense of intimidation. A lot of the kids who train here have friends or parents who train as well and despite it being a family oriented environment there are competitors who train here as well. Since opening they've had multiple seminars, guest speakers, in-house tournaments and participation in regional/national competitions. They're expanding and always accommodating to bring people on to the mat. This is an amazing school and definitely worth checking out.

I have been to different tae kwon do and karate classes for my daughters and I am impressed with…read moregrandmaster Wynn university. I was apprehensive at first because it is in the mall but after signing them up for the introductory classes and seeing how grandmaster taught the classes, I was sold! The first thing I noticed is the grandmaster who is a 9th degree black belt actually teaches the children himself! Not only does he teach himself, he has an impressive resume including winning a silver medal in the olympics along with being one of the chosen people to help get tae kwondo into the olympics years ago. He teaches discipline along with the foundations of the art. My girls ages 6 and 7 love it and actually want to take multiple classes a day because they enjoy it that much. He allows you to take as many classes mon - Thursday as you like which again, makes you really feel as if you are getting your money's worth. I would give more than 5 stars if I could only because I am comparing his university to others that I have experienced. A great choice if you are looking for a long term martial arts for your children!
