I'm so sad to write this review, but my experience was unpleasant and the pedicure was the worst I have ever had. It's been a few years and I wanted to treat myself to a pedi. I asked around for a recommendation and was given Global. I walked in at about 5:15 and the only person in there was paying for their service. The gentleman said that I was in luck b/c 2 people didn't show. Fabulous! Picked my color n sat down. When I asked for the deluxe pedi, he told me that he didn't have time. The place closed at 7:00, so I didn't understand, but okay then. Here's some highlights: there was no cuticle clean up or under and around the nails. The polish is uneven and not even covering the entire nails on some. When I remarked about the polish he said, "It's because your nails aren't straight". I honestly don't have a reply to that statement It's a pedicure...ya know, where you cut and file the nails. The woman in the shop did offer to fix everything, but I just wanted to leave at that point. I was out of there around 5:45. I've never had a pedi be so quick. I was probably in the chair for 20 mins. Basically I soaked my feet, had some cleaner rubbed on my calves with no massage and no foot massage, and my toes polished really poorly. read more

I went in to get acrylics done and as she was cleaning my nails up she had cut my pinky and going into the nail lamp sent me in excruciating pain of non stop burning until 30 seconds after I took my hand out. I made sure I read everything and asked questions, I chose a plain french nail look and it was just white! After she was finished I was able to get a closer look and they weren't awful but paying $120 for them is really outrageous. Reading their signs inside about pricing gave me an estimate of 80-90 tops and adding extra (length,colors,polish type and design/bling) would be an extra $5. Meaning if you wanted a different color on each nail that would be $25 extra. Salon prices are getting so bad and they don't even match there prices to there work, needless to say just try to find someone local who you know won't scam you! read more

I was badly in need of a new acrylic set during my trip to Depoe Bay and found Global Nail & Spa via Yelp. I was able to book an appointment for the same day, and I'm glad I did - they are BUSY and very popular, made apparent by the volume of phone calls, appointments, and regular customers coming in. I was punctually seen right on my appointment time. My old tips were soaked, removed, filed, shaped. The new set went on in record time. Bing bang boom I was out the door in one hour and $60 lighter. Super fast and quality work. I do wish they had more variety for the gel colors on acrylics, but that's my one and only criticism. I saw other girls get lovely sets done by the other two techs. Brought my 3 year old in for her first ever mani/pedi. It had been years myself since I've had one so it was perfect time! I was previously recommended here and I am beyond happy I was! For the first time in my 32 years, someone cut my nail as I wanted them. Not a couple cm longer, my choice and she did it. I don't like long nails and im using acrylics to stop a bad habit of picking my face. So to have her actually cut them somewhat short to what my normal nail length was, was beyond amazing. Im so happy with my square shaped nails. I broke a old 00's habit of only French tips and did an another oldie but goodie. She offered to put a flower on which was definitely the cherry on top! We sat in the chairs longer than the pedicure lasted. The service was rushed, my nails were cut too short, and the experience was the opposite of relaxing. I am VERY DISSATISFIED. Service cost $70.00 and the Nail mani/pedi trim was not done when I was called to pick my elderly mother up. Worse, they scrubbed her calf's so mush they they broke her skin in one place and it bleed for over a week as she kept scratching at it and removing the band-aide I'd kept putting on it. MY ADVICE, DON'T TAKE IN ELDERLY PEOPLE WITH THIN SKIN TO THIS SHOP. I took mine in based on the reviews I read. Thsi one will cover the elderly end of their skill set and the language barrier. THE DETAILS: During the week of Oct 8th thru13th I took my elderly 88 yr old mother in for a mani/ pedi just to trim her nails to the point she could no longer scratch herself. It was her first time and it was a treat I thought for her. She has very thin old skin and I made the mistake of thinking they knew how to treat an elderly person. I was VERY WRONG! Went I showed up after they called for me to pick her up they had not trimmed her finger nails back near far enough. Instead they left them at what most women would want, not what I asked for and was assured would be the case. I told the lead technician that spoke English WHY I wanted them trimmed and she said she understood. My mothers toe nails where not trimmed at all. There was even a jagged toe nail showing they had not even filed them. A man came over and hurriedly trimmed with scissors and was going to leave it at that. I insisted they file them until I could feel them and they were smooth. It took the non English speaking tech (who had to have translation from the lead tech working on someone else) 3 times to get it done to my satisfaction. When I got Mom back to where we were staying I discovered they has scrubbed her calf so much they broke the skin on one calf. My mother is a stroke victim and I told the Tech this on the phone this on the phone and when we arrived. So Mom doesn't know better than to scratch and harm herself in the process. I am the one usually caring for all her needs and after this I will never assume a nail tech is trained enough to work with the elderly not to mention I'll never leave her side should a pay for another pedi as a treat. But really.... $70.00 for a job undone and I didn't even ask for polish. read more

I was so disappointed this morning. I went in with photos of exactly what I wanted. I've been here before, I used to go regularly, but work and time were not my friend. I wanted Superbowl nails (GO CHIEFS), so knew exactly what I wanted. The younger guy got to work. They were HORRIBLE!!! To the point I said, just paint them a solid color because this is not what I wanted. He asked me to repeat so I said it again. He got mad and said, I JUST TAKE THEM OFF! I said ok! He grabbed my hand and started to cut them with nail clippers, when she stopped him. My nails were not even, too long, and the end dipped in towards the finger on every nail. She asked me if it was ok and I told her no that they weren't even I wanted a simple square tip with rounded corners. I finally just gave up. I was still charged $65 and I asked for a nail file so I could attempt to salvage them myself. So bummed at the experience and the service. read more
