I may be uneducated, but even I know that there is no "e" in the word racist. Even if I had run the a/c at 50 degrees (with an infant in the home??), the damage to the metal sleeve around the filter - took years to create. I could not have done that in 2 months. The carpet was ripped when I moved in - that was explained to Mr Melonas (dated pictures were taken) along with the burnt outlets and the mold in the fridge. He claims that the carpet had been steam cleaned. That was untrue as I vacuumed with a new machine and ended up having to dump the dirt over 5 times!! I would not let my little one crawl on the carpet until I paid to have it cleaned. AND WHAT A LIAR - I NEVER claimed to be owed rent because I have a child...that is such a bullshit lie. He had to chase me down for rent??? I paid online every month and have receipts to prove that. I made only one partial payment and that was because this guy would never return calls or address the issues. As for commenting on my supposed credit score - that shows how this person does business. No ethics. He actually had the balls to ask my husband to steal the car of an enemy of his!! I never said a word about the judge that mishandled that case - I called Kevin an As$*&le. The judge did not get to the part of my lease that states clearly that the deposit cannot be used for rent. Its alright though because every dog has his day and good doggies get two!! That unit is still unoccupied to this day, I wonder why? Maybe the owners saw that this guy was shady. As for my family and I moving to Palmdale? That was not a very nice thing to say, the people who live there are hard working and honest. A dead beat like him should be embarrassed to try and call someone else a dead beat. He should be the one to crawl back under his rock. My deposit probably made a few payments on that Mercedes he drives. Hmmmm?? Like I had mentioned in my very first review, we did not have a choice to hold out for a nicer - cleaner place. I am sure that my story is NOT a sob story. There are so many people that have been crushed by the economy that it is not funny in the least. It will happen to you to Mr Melonas, if you keep trying to screw people. And for the record again - the a/c unit NEVER froze...that thing leaked water into the walls and all around the hallway because of an old rotted metal sleeve that took years to disintegrate. The surprise is that such negative reviews could be posted. I have not any issues as described by previous reviewers. The worst case was an issue with some pigeons roosting near my roof. The exterminator was paid by Kevin and came out multiple times without solving the issue. We are renters and if we want a rental that is essentially perfect we should go to a huge complex where they wait on you hand and foot. My guess is that less than perfect credit makes that option not cost effective. I personally wanted a single family home with plenty of room, that's how I ended up where I am now.
