I had a bad experience with this company. I paid them for a job they did not do right. When I called them for a follow up , i had Manny on the phone telling me he was going to call me back because at that he tells me he was on a roof. HE NEVER DID. A second attempt was about 5 days later , Manny again on the phone told me he is on the way to Tehatchapi and he was going to loose me because of the hill and he is going to call me back. HE NEVER DID. Tried to call him back 3 times the following day and he is not picking up. I have to hire another company to do another spraying. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!! read more

These guys are great. I don't know what the fuss is about getting them to come back for a follow up. They've done an incredible job so far. I had a small opening on the side of the house where the hose from the condenser goes into the attic/crawl space. So I realized that's where the squirrels were coming from. I called the hvac company that did the job but could not come out to fix it. So I called Global Rodent & Pest Services. They came out same day. Gabe did an initial walk through around the house, sealed the hole and set up traps. Super friendly and very communicative. Manny, the owner of the service here in Bakersfield, was excellent. Quickly came out when we called on a Friday afternoon about a raccoon who decided to start burrowing into our roof. Other rodent companies we called suggested calling back Monday (apparently did not work on weekends), but there was real concern that at the rate the raccoon was going that he would break into the attic over the weekend. Manny went over the options of things we could do ourselves if we wanted to try these first. We decided to go with the option he suggested that wouldn't hurt the raccoon, the house or us (financially) and prevent the raccoon from returning. Manny was very good. Prompt. Efficient. Went over what he was going to do and when - and did it. Repaired the damaged roof. Cleaned the roof and surrounding area of debris afterwards. Came back Saturday morning and again Tuesday (to repair the roof) when he said he would. We thought the cost was very reasonable. On top of it all he was really a nice guy. Have recommended him to neighbors as we have lots of possums and raccoons in the area. Will definitely call him again if needed. read more

All talk just to get you to pay them and sign a contract, false promises and blame shifting. Horrible company with horrible service. I also tried leaving this review on their website, but they only allow for glowing reviews, so you know all their reviews on the website are most likely FAKE. This is how it goes if you have a rat/mice problem. You have an infestation, that's why you called them. They come out, tell you where the entry points are, say that if you have them do the work to do the exclusion work then they will come back every week for the next 4 weeks to check on the traps and they GUARANTEE YOU THAT YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED because you did the exclusion work and patched up all the rats entry points so it's just a matter of catching them now that they're trapped and nowhere to go. Oh and sugar on top, they tell you that after 4 weeks if you still have a problem then you're guaranteed for a year and they'll keep coming back. So sweet right? How can you not just give them your money. So this is what happens, you pay give them a grand and they use cheap steal mesh you can do yourself to patch up all the holes. They just drill it right in. That with the labor costs them $100 or less. Then they come back with traps, pretty much the big wooden rat traps and glue traps, all the same stuff you could get at Home Depot yourself. Odd, they then ask you for bait even though they said they would have some mouth watering rat bait. So they ask you for peanut butter every time and never bring bait of their own. You hired them because you have a problem and you don't want to go in the attic and crawl space. Guess what their guys don't want to either, so they pretty much don't. They stick to where it's easy and they'll put traps only at your human entry point to the attic and crawl space. 4 weeks later, you still have a rat problem... So what do you do? You call them back to have them do more work. They sent out their quote guy or owner and HE SHIFTS BLAME TO YOU FOR STILL HAVING A RAT PROBLEM. TELLING YOU HAVE A RAT INFESTATION FROM BEFORE AND THAT YOU PAID FOR THE CHEAPEST EXCLUSION WORK AND OH YEAH...THERE'S MORE EXCLUSION AND POINTS OF ENTRY THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. You ask, then why did you tell me from the beginning that if I do the exclusion work then our problems will be solved and you guarantee the rat problem will be solved. He'll tell you that he never said that and that you only agreed to do the bare minimal which was never going to be enough so all you can do is pay more. I found all of this ridiculous. 1st off, I really wanted to like this company but their service was seriously lacking. The guys who come out don't listen to you for the most part and convince you that they're the pros and they will catch the rats. So you think to yourself, ok I'll let you do your "professional" work cuz you know better than me PLUS I have this guarantee so I guess I can let you do what you do best for the next 4 weeks...even though I'm going to keep reminding you week after week anyway cuz I notice there's still a problem week after week you've been here. So after 4 weeks, the guy shifts blame, tells you have to spend more money, do more work, pay for some other kind of monthly service. I tell him based on your guarantee you need to at least send your guys out a few more times and this time they should go deeper into the attic or crawl space cuz they never did. He said their company never agreed to do any work in the attic or crawl space, it wasn't part of their agreed to work. WOW... just wow. GLOBAL is like that liar cheat of a boyfriend who wants to just get in your panties and when he's got what he wants, he leaves you in the dust. That's exactly what it was like hiring these guys. And looking at another person's review, these ppl also have a company by the name of Creepy Crawlers. Don't use them, just don't. You're BETTER OFF ALONE HONEY, YOU'RE BETTER OFF SINGLE!!! Seriously, it will cost you probably $100 max for you to do the kind of work they were going to do for your anyay, even if you don't have an electric drill. Buy one, screw the holes shut with wire mesh. They use CHEAP stuff and then charge you 10x it. Oh, but you don't want to deal with the dead mouse when you catch one? Guess what they don't come out until next week. You're going to end up throwing away that dead mouse you might catch yourself, or if you're lucky like me, my gardeners would do it for me. They don't come out to just throw away whatever dead thing might be caught. I told him I was going to write a bad review, he said go ahead. Great customer service right? I hired Global Pest Contol based on them telling me that I had a raccoon in my attic. This was a joint deal between Global and Ortega Pest control who was my bi-monthly pest control at the time "friends". The owner of Global came out and told me that there was a large amount of raccoon droppings in my attic and that's how he knew I had a raccoon. He said that recognized the droppings. I asked him why there was no odor and he didn't know why considering the messes were dinner plate size. I was horrified. He said that he could trap the animal and seal off any further access. I paid $800 for this service. I asked if that included cleaning up the huge mess he said was up there and he told me that it would be considered a hazmat situation and would be very costly and he doesn't do that He put up a cage and shoved metal and sticks into access areas and said he would seal with cement. The cement guy came out 6 hours later than scheduled and after many calls and excuses because the owner was busy planning a wedding. When the cement guy finally showed up, he asked me what he was supposed to be doing. He had no instructions from the owner but to show up and to seal up the places I pointed out. I had no idea where those were nor should I have to micromanage his worker. Wow! Further, when the owner came back to collect the raccoon, he had nothing in his trap and suggested that the animal had obviously went back out and since he shoved sticks and metal in access area, the raccoon was not able to return. I was delighted until I ask him for photos of the mess the raccoon had made so I could get a clean up team out to clean it up. He then admitted there was no damage or droppings to photograph. He was embarrassed and I was upset. So obviously, there was no raccoon to start with. I asked for my money back and he said he would return my money as soon as he got back to the office but didn't. I had to do a dispute with my credit card company and after the investigation, (90 days) my credit card company, ruled in my favor. read more

Extremely disappointed. Saw a mouse in my house and called Global. They sent a very nice man over who only looked in the area I said I saw the mouse and reinforced with traps. I asked if the follow up appointment could be done with him and ordered 6 poison traps for my yard. The follow up was a week later. Slightly frustrated as they sent a new person, who was less competent, came without the poison boxes I ordered, and all traps were empty. So this mouse or mice still obviously in my home. 3 days later droppings are found in a living room cabinet that only stores decorations. I called and spoke to owner Fernando. He told me how easy it is to catch mice, all of the many areas they can gain access, and how when he does an inspection all of the areas that he looks in. I told him no one has looked in those areas. He made no sense as he tried to defend that. I said look, you are the owner, please come help me. This is a problem. I've had two of your guys here, we still have a problem and it sounds like they have not done everything you would do. He was "too busy" that day, but could come the following day at 3. I made him promise me that he would be the one that came. We agreed and I left the cabinet with all of the droppings in tact for him, hoping it would help him follow a trail. I called him an hour before the appointment to confirm. He said he would be a bit late, I said no pressure just as long as you come. He wound up having a technician text me a few minutes early (I wasn't even at home) saying he was coming in his place because he was "too busy" with a crisis. I told him thank you, but I'm sure Fernando will come as he gave me his word. I will wait for his crisis to be over. He never showed and never called. I called him the next morning and he basically told me he was "too busy" for me. I'm very confused that I am a paying customer, who has a rodent living and pooping in their home and I don't matter? He DOES go out on appointments and I did personally ask for HIM and his availability and patiently waited for him. When I spoke to a woman in the office she asked me, "What do you want me to do, force him to come?" The customer service, follow through, and completion of work is a joke. I asked for my money back and they refused. I informed them I would be writing a negative review and she said she didn't care. Terrible service. Like others, I was scammed. Didn't check Yelp because I was given this number by Western Exterminator when I called because a tenant had a mouse in the house. Fernando put 4 traps in the house and 4 bait stations outside. He identified some small holes outside that needed to be sealed and I told him maintenance would do the work. He told me he would check the traps in a week and monitor and replace the bait stations on a monthly basis for one year for $350. He never returned. Tenant called for appointment for him to check traps and bait stations, took off from work, and he never showed up. As the property manager, I called the office and was told to talk directly to Fernando. He said he never agreed to check on a monthly basis and would not come out unless the tenant was specifically having a problem. And the 1 year warranty may not be in effect because HE didn't do the maintenance work. There was never any talk of him doing it. We can't see into the bait stations or refill the bait so they are not helpful. If a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This company also goes by the name of Creepy Crawlers. read more

Probably the worst customer service experience ever. The technician postponed the original drop off time. I was flexible, he said he'd be at my house at 2pm and arrived around 3. A whole day of keeping in the loop. I have cats so I need to know how the traps worked. Initially I spoke with the boss and it all sounded good. I haven't heard a word from him and he's not responded to my text with photo yet. Ok: So, the technician came with a few traps. Nice enough man. But one trap was covered in skunk spray/ oil from a previous catch and it stank. That didn't seam to bother him. He set the traps where I said needed them but didn't tell me that they could possibly stain or permanently damage my concrete porch?! How was I to know? A can of cat food was put into each trap. Around midnight one was caught. Thank god I had ear plugs. It struggled all night. It's now 12:30 pm and that poor things been screeching now for 12 hours. There is no way to give it water. I decided to cover it so it could rest. Where was that tif bit of advice I wonder? The raccoon has cut its paws struggling to get out and also inhumanly it's also been slashing them on the exposed metal rim of the cat food can which is trapped in there with it. It's hungry so it keeps trying to clean it out. It has shat all over itself and the ground is now covered in blood and crap. I had to call them this morning to follow up. No check in, I guess that b asking to much. The woman at the desk could only provide a 12-2 slot for pick up. I'm insisting on sticking around to make sure my concrete deck is not permanently stained and damaged. I believe it's their responsibility to leave my home as it was before they arrived here. If I had been told what a shit covered blood stains mess this would turn out to be I would have volunteered one in my tarps or a small sheet of plywood. I have them both. But it's my first time doing this ever. I'm waiting for the technician now who has not called in with eta and it's 1:00. I had a friend come by to check it out and thank god the coon didn't go into the skunk covered trap because I was able to move it away from my home. The smell has been every where as it's lingered through my home and garden all night. No amount of incense could hide it, but I needed it, especially since my kitchen is pretty much right there. This has been traumatizing to say the least. I'll submit another report once the technician is gone and taken all the extra traps away. I want nothing more to do with this company. The impression I'm getting is that they are understaffed and when you have a raccoon screeching for hours out side your door I think it just be nice to know how much longer you have to wait. Better yet let the client know what to expect of them the next day if something is caught!! But that coon, it's been trapped for hours it's sort of heart breaking. I firmly believe the trap covered in skunk spray should never have been given to me to use in this kind of residential situation. The smell alone has really been too much, now mixed in with the excrement. Gross and it's right where I hang out all the time. I would never recommend this company. It's both cruel to humans and animals. read more
