The most important part of doing business for me is finding an honest service provider that has deep roots and integrity. My brother has found him in a very compromising legal situation, his first time in jail, his first time ever being arrested, but he is looking at some pretty serious charges. I spoke to Gloria last night for quite a while, and I hung up feeling at peace and being SO grateful for people like her in the world. I had spoken to two other bills bondsman over the last couple of weeks and they both left me feeling pretty gross and sleazy about the entire situation. Making me feel that if I didn't get him out THAT NIGHT that he would be in there for a VERY VERY long time. It is very obvious that they attempt to capitalize on peoples fears in very desperate climates. I work with people every single day and I lost hope because I didn't think that I would be able to find anyone that would be honest in this industry - and obviously It left my brother extremely hopeless about this situation as well. Somehow he obtained her information, he said that he heard wonderful things about her from people that were in jail with him, and I was reluctant, but I called because he asked me to. There is a very intimate kindness in the way that she does her business, and you can tell that she does what she does, because she genuinely cares and wants to help people. She took the time to listen to the facts surrounding my brothers case, she was absolutely more affordable than the other two places that I spoke to- and she actually talked me OUT of bailing him out - she said he only has two more days before Court and based on the information given - there is a high probability that he may be released, and she didn't want to see us throw away money when that can be used towards his obligation to restitution and classes that he will very likely have to commit to. I was beside myself - WHO DOES THAT?? When I called, I was certain that her business was to get people out of jail. What I discovered by the end of our phone call is that her business is to help families and help people that are in need during one of the most difficult times of their lives. If my brother does need to get bailed out, there is absolutely no one else that I would use. You absolutely never know when you might be. In these type of situations. She told me that she does her business nationwide - I felt absolutely compelled to come on here and share this because there are VERY FEW People, let alone businesses - that put people over profit.
