    Beautiful San Diego bay

This park has been here forever !! Reminds me of my high school days when we were drinking or smoking and just wanted to go drive and kick it somewhere haha we would come here.... I brought my kids and husband here and the kids ran straight towards the playground which is huge! And beautiful because it sits right in front of the Coronado bridge. Such a beautiful park with ton of green grass and an awesome sidewalk that stops god knows where. The view is breathtaking especially at night you see all the beautiful twinkling lights of our hometown Americas finest city yes that's right San Diego !! It's located right after getting off of the Coronado bridge you just make a slight right and you'll find the little windy road that leads you to the park.

Went again this weekend, Couldn't find any parking. So, I had to park in a red zone/loading area both times I visited. Last time I got away with it, Not this time. One of Coronado's PD wrote me up for a 20 dollar ticket. Even after I had explained to him that there was no parking whatsoever. I also had explained to him that there was a old man in a Rolls Royce a couple of spaces down also parked in red. I asked him why he didn't bother to write him up. Was it because of the 100,000 dollar price difference between his Rolls Royce and my Ford Explorer ???? It didn't work, So I just went on moved my ride and enjoyed the rest of my day. -1 star for the parking situation, just get there early. Note: Both times I visited this park we drank beer with no problems whatsoever. No one going around checking who's drinking, and checking to see what's in your red plastic cup.

Years ago I would be giving Glorietta Bay Park 5 stars. But now, I feel that this park has gone down in a couple of years. The park isn't as clean or the grass as green as it use to be. I'm still giving Glorietta Bay Park 4 Stars for the following reasons: -It's in beautiful Coronado -Still a great place for a picnic, birthday party, hang out with friends/family, and to take your kids -Small beach, but I would avoid swimming in it since the water in this bay collects a lot of the gas/oils from the boats. Good for jet ski's. -Walking distance to Coronado Golf Course -Walking distance to Ferry's Landing -Great place to GO4ARUN or in my case, a walk. -Nice Skate Park -Views of San Diego's Downtown and the Coronado Bridge I remember we would throw parties here. This place gets so busy that one of us would have to get here at about 5 AM to reserve a spot. Now this place is half full or half empty depending how you look it. With this place located in Coronado Island, there's plenty of other choices like the beach itself.

We had our Father's Day picnic at Glorietta this past Sunday and it was gorgeous. Take the first exit right after Coronado Bridge toll gate. Plenty of parking along the road and there's a fairly sized lot, but it gets OVERLY packed so try to get there a bit early to avoid this issue. We snagged a corner spot underneath lots of trees. I recommend bringing chairs, a table to set the food, a small grill, a little tent, and a couple of blankets to lie on the grass. BEAUTIFUL view of Coronado bridge. Both a relaxing and energetic atmosphere. There's also an easy bike trail through the park and overlooking the water. Definitely encompasses the beauty of San Diego!

Small park overlooking the inner harbor at Coronado island. Nice view of the SD-Coronado beach. It's a nice family oriented park, with a small jungle gym, some BBQ stands and some sand too for a small beach access. There's a nice trail that goes all along Silver Strand Blvd, and there is a shower and restrooms too. No dogs allowed, and no smoking allowed either.

    Cali love

Nice park with beach. Wasn't too crowded and had a clean park. The public restrooms was the only disgusting dirty part.

Super cute park at the North end of the Silver Strand and it's part of the Coronado island, next to city hall.

There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.
