Updating this to say that I have now been seeing Chrisanne for almost TEN YEARS now, and have no plans of looking elsewhere! I've been wanting mico-blading done for so long but I was nervous having permanent eyebrows if they weren't perfect. Then I was to referred to Chris by a friend and after looking at her work I made the appointment. She was awesome and kept having me check to make sure the shape was exactly what I wanted. Okay, so I was seriously nervous about this appointment. I LOVE MY NATURAL EYEBROWS and I didn't want to do anything crazy and have them look fake. Lately my eye brows have been thinning at the ends and super full in the front so everyday I would have to fill them in to look right. After A LOT of research and asking around, my aesthetician Kayla @NewYouAesthetics said I should go to Chrisanne! So I started STAULKING!;) I looked up all of her reviews on YELP and photos ON INSTAGRAM and was super impressed with all the rave comments and images of her work! I decided to go for it! I just got back from seeing Chrisanne for the first time and I'm so happy that I found her! After moving North of Seattle, it became really inconvenient to see a stylist downtown in the evening or on the weekend, so I began to search for someone near Shoreline. Chrisanne's little salon is adorable and very convenient. It was easy to make an appointment with her via email, a major plus for me. I am growing out platinum highlights in my darker blonde hair and was searching for a happy medium with the color. I wasn't sure how to achieve this, but luckily Chrisanne is very knowledgeable. She did some magic and my tired looking highlights are perfectly blended now! My hair feels really healthy too, and no additional highlights were needed! Yay! I have only gone to Chrisanne for eyelash extensions, after a bad experience at another place. Wow, like night and day... she really knows what she is doing. After having multiple eyelashes glued together at another place, I check to make sure when a lash would fall out that only 1 natural lash fell out with it and consistently (it has been 6 months now) I only see 1 natural lash : 1 lash extension, no exceptions. Another thing I like is she lets you know if something will require extra time / cost more than what you expect it to be to be perfect. Obviously, if money is tight for you .. you can opt out, but know that your lashes won't be as full. Once every 6 months my lashes "shed" so usually during those time periods we'll go a little over the required time to make sure everything looks full. Anyway, she is great! She is also very flexible so that is great if you work during the weekdays (ugh like 12/hrs per day...). I go during evenings. I have a very busy work schedule and I go to school now and there is always a good time. I used to wear false lashes every day, but it would rip out alot of my natural lashes. While I don't feel lash extensions are as "full" as fake eyelashes, my lashes are in a much better state. After a few months of my lashes growing out the extensions look great! read more

I've been going to Chrisanne for over a year. I came to her desperate one night for an eye lash fill from another lady. Not having any idea about lashes, Chrisanne set me straight. She fixed my botched lashes (I had lashes glued to my eye lid! Ugh!) and I have never looked back. FYI, if you can feel your lash extensions they aren't on right! I go for regular lash fills and get my hair cut by Chrisanne, and my sister and mother now go for lashes and haircuts as well. Whew! ----------------------- TL;DR = These eyelashes are super long, super strong. Plus, they're comfortable. I went to see Chrisanne for the first time the other day, as I was a little desperate for some sort of appearance boost due to starting a new job soon. I'm terrible at clothes, makeup, hair, aging gracefully, everything...and need all the help I can get. Due to miscommunication on my part or something, I didn't get the results I'd have hoped for...but I have learned some lessons from this experience that I shall pass onto you. LESSON 1. Never piss off a beauty stylist. Your looks, for at least the next several weeks or months, are in their hands. I may not have actually pissed off Chrisanne, but in my broadly overactive imagination I did, and then she got her revenge.... LESSON 2: When you tell an eyelash stylist that you'd like extensions "a little" longer than your natural lashes, that actually means "nearly twice as long." LESSON 3: Any TV show is infinitely more interesting when you can't open your eyes to watch it. LESSON 4: Upon freaking out that your newly-installed eyelashes make you look like you're ready for your vaudevillian debut, be sure to relax, take a deep breath, and wait to see if male engineer friends (who incidentally have never noticed a single change in your looks in ten years) will notice. It probably isn't as wildly dramatic as you imagine. LESSON 5: When said male engineer friends immediately say to you, "What did you DO to your eyelashes?!"...resist the urge to either blame it on new medication or go running inside to burn them off your face. Go hiking, camping, and swimming in alpine lakes as if giant caterpillars aren't now attached to your face. Don't worry about sweat or water...those suckers will definitely stay attached. LESSON 6: Acetone in the eyes really stings. Also it does not remove the eyelash adhesive--nor does face lotion, hand soap, shampoo, or cooking oil. Said adhesive apparently has a better covalent bonding strength than carbon. You could bond airplane wings together with this stuff... LESSON 7: Picking at them with your fingernails will actually make them pop off. Unfortunately, about half of them will come off with a natural lash attached. With aforementioned adhesive strength, just be grateful all of your eyelashes don't come with them. LESSON 8: You didn't need that many natural eyelashes anyway. Less is more. I felt comfortable the minute I walked in to Chrisanne's salon. She's definitely the type of person you want to be around, and you know you have to get along with your stylist! She listened to the description of what I wanted and gave me exactly that. I've had highlights done a couple months ago and just recently went back for another color and cut. I am pleased - it looks fabulous! I'm picky, and its hard to walk out of a salon and be totally happy with my hair! She always offers something to drink, like coffee or tea. Chrisianne is always great. I started going to her for my hair last year and haven't been to anyone since. She always colors it perfectly and gives that perfect cut for flowing, gorgeous locks.
