I came home and they were still uneven, chipped and split, and my cuticles started bleeding and peeling the week after. I was upset but I used a gift certificate and didn't have the courage to say anything at the check out. But it was a really big waste of time and money, so I felt like I should come on here to let others know.

However, The one that cut my hair is just a terrible experience for me. Not only that she burned my scalp with her super hot hair blower, she also butchered my hair. I…read morewanted a plain manicure on my natural nails, nothing fancy, just a clean up..... cuticles were not cut at all (just pushed them back), no shape at all on the nails...and no hand/arm massage, just some left over lotion was put on my hands (left over because she actually had to twist the bottle open and get lotion off the tube) manicure took about 7-8mins.... pedicure was a disaster as well... no cuticles were cut, nails all cut in weird angles, and each nail has different amount of layers of nail polish (big toe had 4, another had 2, another had 3) and when putting the polish on, the lady kept going left, right, up, down, just caking the polish on... never in one direction!!! I honestly was so disappointed I didn't let her finish, I just got up and left after paying over $50 for both "services"... I didn't have the time or energy to argue.... Ignore the messed up nail polish on my big toes, that was me just sticking my feet into my sandals and leaving...

I've used the same esthetician so she has become familiar with my skin & its changes through the seasons. There is no "hard sell" for purchases here & no "blaming" you for not spending $100's on products they have available. This speaks very highly the Staff understand not everyone that walks in will need any or all their products. (I do use their Hydropeptide cleanser.) Pedicures there are a dream for me: no "razor egg" files (like at Mall & Walmart), just warm foot soak, light acid treatment (I have tough corns on my feet), lotion massaged into feet, ankles & calves, followed by base, 2 coats polish & topcoat for pedicure. Very rarely does polish rub/wear off even after three weeks. I have never had a bad or unpleasant experience at Dermistique's in my many visits. I think if you'll try any of their services, you'll come back: they're not as "cheap" as the quick places (broken out skin &/or pedicures that come off in a week), but I have received many compliments on how great my skin looks.
