This resulted in my receiving injections in my neck without general sedation. It wasn't great. I would've appreciated someone telling me I needed to be NPO and if you don't know if I can eat, find out to give me an honest answer. Anyway Dr Patel is very nice and is working to squeeze me in for an earlier appointment for another needed procedure due to my leaving the state for work shortly. I appreciate everyone's concern and I feel like they are really trying to heal.

On the way to the office on the day of my appointment, their office called me again to reschedule. Since I was already two minutes out, I arrived anyway to make the appointment. They did get me in to see another doctor, but this person was not familiar with my medical history and failed to give me a thorough exam. I was told to come back in a few weeks for a follow-up MRI. In the weeks before the MRI, I received a letter in the mail stating that the MRI would need to be rescheduled. On the day before the (now rescheduled) MRI, their office called me stating that there was a major portion of my bill that wouldn't be covered by my insurance, and they refused to work out a payment plan that didn't involve at least a 50% payment; this was an obvious attempt to blackmail me into paying immediately, since they undoubtedly had this information in advance and waited until the last minute to inform me. I told them to cancel all my appointments as I wouldn't be dealing with them further. After three (3) appointment reschedules during what was a month and a half, I booked an appointment to see a neurologist at the Baton Rouge Clinic. I only had to wait 4 days to see a doctor who could spend the time to exam me thoroughly and do all the lab work I needed that same day. Having worked in the medical profession myself, I realize that it's a difficult and stressful life; that however does not compensate for unprofessionalism and incompetence. If you care about your health and finances, I recommend the Baton Rouge Clinic instead.

All I had to do was show up to my appointments and his staff took care of the rest by talking to my insurance company to get payments processed and my surgery dates booked. Another amazing perk is that Dr Sanchez has a state of the art surgical center on the premises so that for small surgical needs can be handled there instead of the big hospital he has privileges in. I love this dentist office! The staff is fantastically friendly and really took care of us! The hygienist, Kristin was super amazing and really spent time with us going over my sons teeth and explaining everything that needed to be done. She was so kind to him and he never felt scared even once! Dr. Collins was very nice as well. I love that this office has one dentist and is not a "chop shop" of many dentists that you never really get to know. They have state of the art, brand new technology with cameras and X-rays and even fluoride treatments! I highly recommend this dentist and am so glad to finally have a good family dentist!!

Honestly, I was bit skeptical about our switch here since the reviews were mixed, but luckily found an appointment with Dr. Bourg (I think that's how it's spelled) and was pleasantly surprised by how well everything went today. My daughter had to get a filling and cleaning done and we were rescheduled for later this month to do cleanings for my other three children. The doctor and staff were able to accommodate us today and get all kids scheduled for cleanings as well so they were all done together. Everything went smoothly and I was very happy with their services provided. Dr. Bourg even gave me a call to make my eldest was doing alright after her filling.
