I'd like to start by saying that while I have had multiple spray tans, they were done by a machine and never by a person. I'm fairly comfortable in my own skin but the idea of someone you've never met inches away from your almost completely naked body is a bit uncomfortable. I went into this spray tan a little nervous, hoping it might not be an adorably cute early 20s girl and when I walked in that was exactly who greeted me. Her name is Taurie and about 5 minutes in I was completely at ease. She was not only super sweet but made me feel super comfortable and explained everything to me so I knew what was happening each step of the way. She moved around me with ease and left no awkward spot untouched, leaving me flawlessly covered. I left with an amazing tan and, armed with her tan care advice, it lasted for at least a full week! Now, that having been said, I would also like to say that the space is really nice! It's upstairs from a salon that is in a recently renovated old fire station which was so cool to see! Everything is clean, modern, and what you would hope for if you're getting down to your skivvies. I highly recommend this spot to anyone, new to spray tans or experienced, as I can say with absolute certainty this is the best place in the Providence area for a tan! read more

Ive been to Glow now three times. Michelle is very professional and makes you feel comfortable through the process. She makes sure the tan sprays on evenly and drys it as she goes. I was nervous at first thinking i would be orange but the color was perfect. The tan lasts about 7 days and the price is reasonable. It definitely beats laying in the sun or tanning beds. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Glow! From start to finish Brianna made me feel so comfortable about the whole experience. SHE WAS AWESOME. The studio is SPOTLESS, and the decor is so cute! Usually after two days, I start to have areas that disappear and I start to look splotchy, but that isn't the case this time! Got my spray tan done a few hours ago and I must say that I'm more than pleased! Michelle has years of experience and pays close attention to detail. After the spray she wiped my nails, wrists and even ears to make sure I didn't have the "dirty" spray tan look. Glow tanning is in the upstairs of the JLS hair salon which is in a old converted fire house. This was my first spray tanning experience and Michelle was very professional and made me comfortable for the first time. She had great attention to detail and made the experience wonderful walking me through the process and selecting a "glowy" perfect color for my fair complexion. The salon has its own lot so parking wasn't an issue which it can be in certain areas of Providence. There was no tanning smell and the area was well ventilated and private. I absolutely am ADDICTED to these spray tans and the girls who I get them from honestly, I have had so many types of tans real/ fake in my life. I've always had very dry skin so sprays usually would stick too me very dark and come off soo patchy and I would look dirty. Michelle was able to come up with a technique that prevents any of that happening. I am now about a weekly tanner and can't live without they have the ability to make you look so natural no matter what your skin tone. I am very fair and I will continue to get sprays all winter.
