Great experience!!! We took the kids there and initially bought the combo package for mini golf and the laser gun. We decided to do the Laser Gun first, My daughter wanted to go, but being typical her, she was a bi scared. While in there we had fun shooting people and getting shot. No physical contact allowed. After the end the kids wanted to do it again, so we swapped the mini golf for another laser pass. After that we did play some games and my daughter won 500 tokens on her card. Overall, the facility was very well organized, clean and the staff were young, but very courteous and friendly. The kids couldn't stop talking about it and want to return gain and again. Price wise I feel it was very reasonable too in comparison to other places similar. Definitely recommend it.

Interior/Facilities - The place was huge and the glow in the dark concept was great for the mini golf, that made in interesting.

Since it's literally just 6 steps away from where we work it would have been a missed opportunity to pass this up. They open at 1pm on a Thursday so it was very nice of them to let us play before hours of operation. Very kid friendly. They have an indoor playground which got even me excited! One down side was that 3 of their arcade games were out of order. Wasn't that big of a deal as we were there to shoot the hell out of each other!! Team building exercise? A dark arena with uv light up above, so don't wear white! With 21 people in this room I'd say it was fairly big. At times I would find myself seeing no one at sight. But turn one corner and bang! People ducking, hiding behind obstacles and shooting you through holes in the wall! Since we played during our lunch break we had a 30 minute game. Everyone was drenched in sweat by the end. So bring water! 5 stars because it encourages physical activity + lasers + well organized! TL;DR -Indoor playground for kids -Great place to shoot your friends & family -Dont wear white! -Bring water!

I went here with my little brother, and take my word for it, though: it's worth going the extra distane for LQ. While Laser Quests lets kids (and adults) choose their own nicknames and life out their videogame fantasies in a huge two-story arena, ULT's arena is three times smaller, and their laser guns are so "child-friendly" that they won't even work unless the player holds it with both hands! Add to that the fact that, in the first game, both my brother and I were given defective vests, and that there's a $5 fee to use their indoor playground, and it becomes clear why I prefer LQ over this place any day.

I think this place is absolutely ridiculous and I don't think they even deserve a spot on yelp…read more As shown in the picture, we had a group of 18 people. 18!!! It was my friend's birthday and he had originally booked the place out for the all-nighter laser tag package, complete with X-box and pizza. It sounded like a good time, even though it was a few hundred bucks. Pricey, but it'd be pretty awesome to run around with your friends (or enemies), playing laser tag, games and eating pizza. Oh, to be young again. So the contract is signed by the birthday boy and he got all 18 of us to meet up at Area 51 Planet Play in VAUGHAN (We're all from markham...) at 12am. YES. IT'S 12AM-6AM. We must've waited in the parking lot for an hour or so... you know why? Because none of the staff decided to show up. REALLY?!?! YOU TAKE A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS, MAKE US COME AT MIDNIGHT AND DON'T SHOW UP?!?! The confusion for the staff was because we booked for Saturday night 12am, they thought we meant Sunday 12am. But it doesn't even make sense because the contract originally says that it is booked for May 14th on 12am. May 14th at 12am means THE 12AM WHERE SUNDAY BEGINS. WHICH MEANS, THE EVENING OF SATURDAY NIGHT UNTIL DAWN ON SUNDAY. It doesn't matter how you respond to me, or any other review- this place was in the wrong. Booking your staff on the wrong time is 100% your fault, no matter how you word it or try to explain it. In any situation, especially if you want to make this a legal one, May 14th 12AM means 'as soon as midnight comes after May 13th' ...Booking 12am for us after Sunday Dusk would mean that date is MONDAY MAY 15TH already. After the whole ordeal was sorted out, the place offered to give us a discount but refused to give my friend his deposit back because it is a 'contract'... but, you are the ones that originally broke the contract and you're still holding back his deposit?! You are all absolutely ridiculous and disgusting for finding ways to scam people out of their hard earned dollars. In any case, a contract is no longer binding if the party that has set it out has already broken it. It is also troublesome to get 18 people back in the same place at midnight to do it again; people's schedules change. So thank you, Planet play, for effectively wasting all our time. See you never!

So, if you read my previous review, you'll know what happened, but they redeemed themselves (to an extent). Ended up going with a very small group, but we still had fun! We had the whole place to ourselves, and play numerous different games that kept the lasertagging quite interesting. The staff there for the evening were super friendly and nice, and even ran around with us inside. The lasertag area was definitely smaller than I expected. One floor with a maze inside. Gets a bit redundant when you know where everything is, and the best hiding spots are though. Communications to set up this small get together wasn't the best though. I was expecting a little more from what happened previously. Although everything ended up working out, there were times were communications were so sporadic and sparse, I needed to send multiple emails just to get a response. They ended up giving me another free lockout to come again with a bigger group, so that was definitely a nice gesture... Will be looking forward to going again, if I can get through to someone to book it.

We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.
