Visited this GNC a few times now and it's ok. The staff are friendly and willing to help yet I noticed they have a smaller inventory than the other 2 frequent in Tracy and it takes longer to get now products in also. Otherwise there's everything you need from Sports Nutrition (Protein Powders, Pre Workout, Quest Bars ect) to Vitamins and Herbs, even a few Nut Butters. Prices are fairly high but if you become a member you can get some great deals and they regularly have bogo 50% off. *TIP* Located in the same plaza / side as Menchies. read more

Very good and clean store. The manager was really nice and helpful and answered the questions I had and gave some extra tips.

Saw some employees picking on a young girl for being on her phone. She looked really young so I don't know why they would. They were so rude to her and I wanted to say something but I was already leaving. I was surprised that they were mad about that seeing as the employees were on their phone watching a video when I came in and asked for help. I hope their manager starts investing more in customer service training and I hope that young girl is alright. I didn't end up buying anything because the employees ruined my experience. I knew this place had bad reviews but I thought that maybe it wasn't true but turns out I was wrong. If you had to pick this place or Hell, my advice to you would be to pick Hell. read more

I wanted to buy protein powder and I found GNC close by to where I live. The workers there seemed nice since they greeted my friend and I and asked if we needed any help. I was looking around and I was on my phone to check the reviews of certain products (which I think is pretty normal to do to make sure the product is good??!) As I was reading the reviews, I overheard one of the workers complaining, "They're just on their phone! Look!" I don't really remember much about what they said but they were definitely complaining about me being on my phone and taking a "long" time. After one of the workers said that, a worker came up to us and asked if we needed any help :/ When I went up to go pay, I'm pretty sure the one who complained about me being on the phone said, "Are you ready to pay??" in the most condescending tone ever. I'd completely understand if we came in last minute before closing but we came in an hour before they closed. Now I see why this place has such low reviews because of their employees. read more

This place is right off the freeway and is across the street from a big shopping mall. It's in a grocery store shopping center so you'll always find parking here. We found what we were looking for and prices seemed reasonable for what I was getting. The staff was very helpful and we were in and out within 5 Minutes. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have been in this location and finally had to write a review. The staff here are a bunch of bro's that literally do nothing. Each of my visits have been the same experience, so I guess you could say that they are consistently providing horrible customer service. Walking in today I was acknowledged and asked if I needed help with anything. When I walked up to the counter where 3 young men were sitting around and watching a video on a phone and asked for a certain product they pointed me to the direction of the item. Again I asked as I was unfamiliar with the item and again he pointed me to the shelf. I'm not asking for a Japanese knife set demo here, I would just appreciate it if one of the 3 guys sitting behind the counter could walk me over and show me what I was looking for. There was no one in the store besides me. The store's phone number doesn't work, so you literally have to drive down to see if your product is stocked, and then once you are there you are not valued enough to actually get any sort of help! I would prefer to spend my money at a local store, but after continued horrible customer service experiences, I have decided to shop online. For the prices that we pay for these supplements, the employees could be a bit more helpful. Later Bro's. You suck! read more

To get a discount, I bought multiple pre-workout cans to save money. When we got to the last can we discovered after opening the foil it was defective and the powder was solid as a rock. I figured I could probably just go in and get it exchanged for a non-defective one. The minute I walked into the store employees were very rude with me. Would not refund me or exchange the product. He said it was past the 30 days. So you're telling me we're buying multiple products, that we would never go through in 30 days and you're not going to refund me? Horrible horrible policy! No I'm left with this crap. Don't shop here, they're rude as well. read more

This staff is the worst at customer service , miserable, unapproachable crew! It's unfortunate because I try and support my local stores but I can't support the store anymore and will search out other options possibly online! I tried to return a product after they told me I could try it. I didn't like it and I just wanted it to be replaced with the flavor I prefer they refused to replace it and ended up giving me my money back which was less than what I paid and when I made a comment that I"m losing out, the guy there said "yes you are" ! The only reason I tried that new flavor was a recommendation from them and I try to explain that but he didn't care !! read more

On Tuesday March 13 2018 employee closed the door early approx 7:40 when store says open until 8pm. He looked at me through the window as I wasted my time coming to get products I need. I don't appreciate it when a business says they are supposed to be open and they close the doors early like this. Other people work outside these hours and count on you being open until 8pm. Get it together and run your business accordingly. read more

Literally the most incompetent people I've ever seen working at a business. They don't even know how to do a refund for products they told us to get but we're wrong. Find someone who knows what they're doing. They say oh buy two get one free you're saving so much but then the guy who is a cashier doesn't know anything about the product charges you 3 times for something and still has no clue what to do. Never coming back to this location again. They look like deer in headlights when asking for questions about anything. Highly recommend having a manager here on the weekend as well so they can help their customers. They can't do a refund because there's no manager? What a joke read more
