It starts with the store manager, Jenny, who is a terrific human but also provides great customer service due to her awareness, enthusiasm, and customer service. Her store is roomy, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of parking is adjacent. Multiple tables are inside, and a microwave is available if you're eating in. Many prefer their Grab n Go option. They also have a nutritionist (Becca) on staff to aid your habits and health. The large menu includes identified new items, and they offer local delivery (which we will do once moved). All items are nicely displayed in their wall-length fridge, and there were no sales-type moves by Jenny throughout. It's an easy thing to do when a place serves good food and has a great staff... Brian and his team are personable and do a wonderful job at the counter and in their kitchen. Maid-Rite sandwiches are nostalgic for me and evergreen in that the first one I had was probably close to 50 years ago... And I still enjoy them today. And a fun fact. As much as I enjoy a breaded pork tenderloin (which Maid-Rite also serves)... Loose meat sandwiches are the official state sandwich Iowa is known for. Google it. Grab a Maid-Rite sandwich!
