a good rule of thumb, greet your customers, I walked into the local GNC and seen two girls behind the register talking to each other A male employee was involved helping another customer. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nick really knew his info, and helped explain the differences in the protein powders and why each would be a good fit. He took time to show us and teach us about other supplements in the store as well since we are new to health and fitness. I am not a "reviewer." I always attempt to handle any grievance with the store manager or owner. There was not an option. I ran into pick up a few things. They did not have what I was looking for and regularly purchase so I found a substitute product. I made a purchase, buy one get one 1/2 price. Both items rung up full price. There was one sales person there who had worked a month. She could not correct it. She called her manager. Their solution was for me to accept that I was over charged and come back Tuesday, in person, so that they could fix it. That was not an option that would work for me. I asked to speak to the manager. She would not call him. She never apologized for me being inconvenienced. I asked her to just void the sale. She said she could not. I asked her to return the items. She said she could not. She did not empathize that any customer would be frustrated in this circumstance. She could have cared less. There was no accountability. The outcome was: you were overcharged, take your product, if you can't come back on Tuesday to resolve it then, that is your problem. Now leave. It was the worst worst worst worst customer service experience I have ever had!! I spend a lot of money there. I typically do not hold a store accountable for one bad experience, but the manager did not help or resolve the situation. In fact, why were you open if you could not handle the smallest of transactions? I will contact my credit card company and dispute the charge because I really can't go back Tuesday. I will never shop at GNC again. I have 3 businesses. I would be devastated if my staff treated our customers like that. And shame on the owner for not setting the staff up to succeed or for ensuring trained, competent staff are present during operating hours. read more

The GNC at cocoplum plaza is the only place i shop at for nutrition. Chassidy and Glenn have helped lead me in the direction of a healthier life since i first stopped in a few weeks ago. My doctor recommended i get some more calcium in my diet to help with my aging bones; so naturally i thought to just pick up a calcium supplement bottle. that is before i made the trip up to GNC and met the lovely/knowledgeable/helpful staff. they pointed me in the direction of a multivitamin that helped not only my bones but my skin and hair as well. i intended on only buying a single 8-10 dollar bottle, but after spending some time in the store with Glenn and Chassidy they had me leaving with more than i could carry, and happily at that! My sleep cycle is the best it's been in years, my skin looks better than in my 30s, and my metabolism won't quit! i don't know what store the other women who reviewed this store went to, but if you're ever in the area stop into GNC and you'll be sure to leave happy. read more
