I initially booked in an appoinment for my wifes very first waxing appoinment. The first thing "kiki" does is send a manifesto about what she will and will not tolerate from paying customers. An intersting customer service move I must say. The day of the appointment approached and my wife became ill and under a doctors care and it became clear she would not be able to make this appointment until her treatment ran it's course. So, we reschedule for 2 weeks later thnking that would be sufficient. Wife was rapidly healing so we had every hope of being able to attend. well morning of and she just isn't quite ready health wise though we thought she would be. I inform cranky, oh I mean kiki, as early as humanly possible day of, 730am this is that exchange. Me: I do appologoze but if possibly we need to push one more week. Her: No. Have a nice day. Me: Meaning no reppointment Her: Correct Me: Fair enough but I will be going on review sites to explain that you refuesed to accomodate a woman getting over an illness under a doctors treament. Have a nice day. Her: Your cancellation cost me $50, I sent you a message initially that told you i do not reschedule same day cancellations. Me: Good for you. Your attitude desrves all the money you lost. Your customer service is garbage, and this is from a 20 year customer service guy. Good luck, you could have had a customer that tips like restaurant people. But your attitude, accoriding to your reviews, and your generally hostile demeanor lost you yet another customer. Good work, pettiness will take you far. She could have made a long standing client but instead being a burntout shell of a human she lost another chance at earning the money she feels is hers by right. Do what you want, go where you want, but I am telling every woman I know to skip the bitter burnout. and yes if zero stars were an option. If you have sensitive ears, prefer to be politically correct or are easily offended she may not be the waxer for you. She is extremely rude and communication is not professional at all. Because I was 7 minutes late she was rude from the time she opened the door. I asked if it would be better to reschedule. Instead of saying yes and being polite/ professional she had to be sarcastic. I'm sure she will reply to this comment just like the others with her justification on way she is rude and feels no responsibility for it. I wish I would have come to yelp before going there, I went because her google reviews were good and she was cheap this has been one of the defining traumatic moments of my life that a therapist will one day have to unpack. I being in the medical field am a stickler to hygiene so you can imagine my shock when I finally peeled my eyes open to see her NOT WEARING ANY DAMN GLOVES!!! On my lady bits nonetheless. I know she's trying to make you feel relaxed but if the first 50words anyone says to me is drop your pants I assure you muscles go into creeper mode and everything contracts she basically had to hold my legs down with her elbows. And lastly but most importantly I am very sore and look like I have burn marks on the nether region. This was my second waxing ever I was told after the first one (which I had three weeks on the dot before at a spa) it was basically a cake walk, I assure you I am not walking anywhere with ease now. Number one, Kiki is wonderful. She goes out of her way to make her customers comfortable, even though they're naked from the waist down! That takes a lot of effort. Kiki has you change in front of her, doesn't wear gloves and makes completely inappropriate comments during the wax. I went to KiKi for my first wax and I was definitely in good hands. She keeps the friendly conversation going so your not worried about the pain. Getting a Brazilian wax, of course it's going to hurt! But she tries to make your experience as easy as possible. The 2nd time around, I was a pro and I didn't hurt NEARLY as much. Each time was quick, under 30 minutes. The first time is 50$ and maintenance every 3 weeks is 35$....i don't know about you, but I think that's a BARGAIN. She's very good at what she does.
