All day event with the dogs and drinking froze (with an accent)! Check out my review about that. Anyways, I was feeling great and all of a sudden this magical place opens up.... Like a secret garden. We had the pups with us and when that door opened I was transformed to a new place filled with happiness! The owners are so sweet, they greeted us and allowed our dogs to enjoy the shopping experience with us! As I can be picky, it was a great time to really get to get something custom madden to my liking! The owners and even their daughter helped create my hat! All leather, copper and even feathers! I'm sorry but $297 for all custom hat that leather... Sheesh I got a steal! Your dollar will go very far here with creating a custom hat. Im sad that they are moving from this wonderful location... again with the owners of properties and increasing rent when everything is going out of business. I love their green walkways with the neon signs. Very cute! Their daughter help design a baseball cap for me. I just loved how incredible this place is. They truly take the time to make sure you are happy. I never knew the size of my head and they made sure my hat fit perfectly I wish I could give this family 10 stars.

However, the owner Anne was so incredibly rude to not only my 12 year old daughter(on her birthday), her friend, and then myself. I planned on purchasing patches for a birthday party so they went to check out patches they would potentially want. Anne questioned and insinuated they stole, which they denied. Then asked them to empty their pockets, which they did. NOTHING was found. I was right outside the door. They were the only two customers in the store. They immediately told me, and I decided to return later to discuss so I could collect myself since I was appalled. When I returned to ask what happened, Anne's attitude and demeanor was incredibly negative and off putting. I have grown up in this town, live off first street, and never have had such a terrible interaction...ever! Not even close. She admitted they didn't steal, but did not regret her approach. No apology, no remorse for accusing, nothing. She smirked at me and had a smug attitude through our whole conversation. Highly recommend going somewhere else! ****Response to Anne's comment. Absolute lie. You admitted in person they didn't steal but "you have a business to run." So now you are a liar as well. You are simply trying to save face since you have a poor review. On…read morea day adventuring out in Martinez with a girlfriend, we decided to burn a few calories from brunch and take a walk down this historic city. Our first stop, Bad Girls Antiques. There are a ton of things here - like every thrift and antique shop, you have to be on the lookout. Slow down, explore. You will find things that speak to you. I do want to come back for the compact mirrors. I came in with no intention of buying anything. I left with a new pillbox that was the cutest. Now my vitamins will be safely secured in this gold plated box.

The guy counted them and said they are $3.00 each. I said what!?!?! I then mentioned that the sign's read $1.00 each and he said no... $3.00 each. Needless to say, I immediately left the building. This is NOT. . . how to run a business!!! As well, NOT going to get repeat customers the way you're conducting your business WATCH OUT PEOPLE. . . BEWARE!!!

This store is located in more of a warehouse type and it merged spaces with another store. They had so many different items to choose from, I bribe from lock sources bd found sources outside of town. My partner bought a Martinez shirt from them and let me tell you, the fabric is so soft. My friend bought a cute hair comb she has been looking for a while. They make all their designed there and are solely owned by the artist. This isn't your boring chachki store, but somewhere you can actually buy quality made goods. They had everything from clothing, candles, Taylor swift items, jewelry and so much more. The place was clean, the family that owns it is super sweet and can answer any questions. The store didn't seem cramped and put together well. I'll definitely be back!

We talked to the owner Jenny for a little bit and she is the sweetest lady. She makes a lot of items she sells including patches for hats and ornaments for the holiday's. There's a whole section with Martinez merchandise, as well as candles, cards, clothes, hats, and stuff for kids. I enjoyed walking through the store and checking out everything. My friend bought some warm gloves and I got a pair of heart earrings for Valentine's Day. I'll be back to purchase her popular hand crafted Christmas ornament with a cat's backside and a snowflake covering it. This is a fun shop to check out!

Even hats with Martinez on it, they were super cute. You walk in and you really see a lot of different items. All the way in the corner there was an area of pickled items, pickles, yummy yummy! The store was extremely clean and it's definitely a place that I would get someone a gift that's different than anything online. You can tell that the items are newer, nothing seems to sit on the shelves so I'm happy to see family owned business flourishing! I love giving back to my community and buying local. Super friendly staff who welcomed us in, pointed out how they are set up and encouraged us to look around. New items come in regularly, I believe. On the day I visited, I had in a mind a particular sized painting-either framed or canvas for a certain wall space. They didn't happen to have it, but I saw plenty of other beautiful decorations that my budget, right now, won't allow for. If you are looking to add a bit of vintage charm to your home, stop here first. They have a beautiful selection, great prices and are a wonderful local business to support!

I deduct one star because I have been in the antique design industry for 8+ years with an Etsy store of my own. I also work at an antique store in Pacheco..... so I have some background knowledge here. No fault to the gals helping me but I was told discounts are not often given and when I asked about two pieces totaling roughly $50 ($28+$19) a $3 discount was given. That's less than tax. Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. That being said the painted furniture prices are outstanding the work is really well done.
