The rep that came to the house to give us an estimate and told us that there would be 4-5 person crew for 5 or more hours. I pointed out the areas of the house that I was most concerned with and wanted the most attention given to was the kitchen to remove cooking grease build up on the counter top and cabinets. All base boards and doors were to be throughly cleaned. We'd had a remodel and dust settled everywhere. Instead of starting in the kitchen they chose to begin at the opposite end of the house leaving the worst room for last. The day that the cleaning crew arrived with only a 2 person crew, the crew seemed upset that we were told to expect a 4-5 person crew stating that this happens constantly. After the cleaning was complete per their announcement , I performed a walk through and I pointed out multiple areas that they forgot to vacuum, clean window stills, and missed a majority of the areas needed to remove most of the grease from the Counter tops, or remove grease from cabinets. Minimal elbow grease was given to correct my concerns. They assured me that their degreaser would remove all trace of grease. Well maybe is they had used some elbow grease it would have worked. They informed us that even though we had asked for the side by side refrigerator to be cleaned, they could only clean the refrigerator side. After calling the office, they were told to clean the freezer also. After 5 hours we were informed by the crew of 2 that their time was up and they had to get approval to work longer to finish the job since they hadn't even begun in the kitchen that as I specified earlier was my priority! They remained at the house for a little while longer but after they left we found that they did a horrible job. Bathrooms were left with urine around the toilet. Grease was still all over the cabinets in the kitchen. We were told the cabinets would be wiped inside and out but that was never done. They are all still dirty. Window sills were not wiped down. Baseboards that were paid to be wipe down were not wiped down. And a simple push of a ottoman in the living room, given it was the only furniture in the room would have revealed dirt and debris underneath that needed cleaning. She said "we're not allowed to move furniture. I slid it out of the way with minimum effort and said that was easy enough so can you vacuum now? She complied. Areas were completely skipped. Nothing small was moved to dust around. Mirrors were left smeared. Keep In mind 99% of the contents of the house were not in the house. It was pretty much a blank slate. So disappointed in their performance. And the one cleaner that I kept pointing things out to that were left not cleaned just kept blaming the other person. As we are moving in we find more and more where they cut corners and skipped areas to be cleaned. We Would have considered hiring them for biweekly cleaning but their lack of attention to detail was enough to never hire them again. Very disappointed
