Advanced Medical…read more Family. That is the word I can best describe Advanced Medical. Not only is Advanced Medical operated by an amazing father-daughter duo, Dr. Arlen Lieberman and Dr. Krystle Lieberman, but I felt like a member of the Advanced Medical family every time I go. I've been to Advanced Medical before as a guest while my girlfriend was being treated and they have always been kind, friendly, and personable. She raves about how wonderful they are and how much better she feels after an adjustment or acupuncture. Recently I had to go as a patient, and although the circumstances were not favorable for my physical well-being, as soon as I walked in I knew I was in great hands. Both Alren and Krystle greeted me as soon as they saw me. I feel more than a patient, or a chart, when I am there. Through my initial exam, I met with several people and every single one was professional, friendly, and listened to my concerns. Although it was unfortunate having to go to Advanced Medical as a patient, I WAS fortunate enough to have such an amazing team to take care of me. After my first visit, I left feeling better than when I came in and look forward to seeing everyone again. I recently went and hadn't been there in about 3 years and he remembers not only health and treatments that I previously had, but also personal information that I had previously shared with him, including asking about my husband and his current job and health. Staff is also very friendly. When I went today they greeted me by name as I walked through the door. Would definitely recommend. One thing I should mention is don't go there expecting to have your back cracked, they only do that when necessary. Usually they use an Activator Adjusting Instrument. They put it in various places on your back and click it. It makes a clicking sound and gives you a gentle, quick pressure poke. I am not sure how it works as I would think it wouldn't do anything, but it somehow does work!

In the month or so before I redeemed my massge, I had two chiropractic appointments with one of the doctors. He was really nice and very helpful. I was advised that the initial consultation would be free, x-rays included. I then had two adjustments, and was told that the office visit is $40 per visit, which would be billed to my insurance, as this office is in network with my insurance company. One claim was just submitted, and I see that I will owe $235! Part of it will be taken out of my HRA, but I don't have this full amount in my account, so I will be responsible for paying the rest of it. This is NOT the amount I was advised I would be charged! However, my biggest complaint is the actual massage, which is what brought me to this business in the first place. My therapist was a young woman who barely asked me any questions before the massage took place (which I thought was strange, since in previous massages, I have always been asked what I would like the outcome to be, where my main areas of concern are, etc). Also, the room where I had my massage smelled like cigarette smoke, and when the massage therapist was near me, she smelled heavily of smoke. It was very difficult to relax. Then, halfway through the appointment, she started TEXTING from her cell phone! She brought her phone into the room with her and set it on the table next to the bed and played music from it, despite there being a CD player with a collection of CDs right there. I could hear her phone buzzing, and I guess the anxiety got the best of her because eventually she picked up her phone and answered the text. I could hear her sign, and the buttons clicking, as she responded to the texts. Of course, she was not very good at multi-tasking, so while she was reading and responding, she would have (literally) one finger on me, rubbing gently in a cirlce, until she put down her phone and could continue on. This happened at least three times. And when the massage was over, she just tapped my back and said, Appointment is over. And walked out. It was so, so extremely unprofessional, the whole appointment. The massage was absolutely terrible. I seriously regret spending the money on this particular massage, and regret even more that I tipped her. I felt pressured because when I left, she was standing right there. I will NOT be returning to this place, nor will I ever recommed it to anyone.

Woke up with the worst back pain that limited my mobility to do normal activities like make the…read morebed, empty the dishwasher, get in and out of the car. Pain level of 9. Worried I would have to take the day off of work (house renovations). I called at 9:50am and asked if I could come "walk-in", they got me in at 10am. Dr Michaela did a quick 5 min assessment, electrotherapy, massage, and quick adjustments, and K tape. Within 35 mins I walked out of there with full mobility and pain level of 2. Woke up the next day feeling 100%. Best investment ever! Didn't have to miss a day of work. 10/10. I am very skeptical of Western Medicine and avoid going to the doctors/medication if all possible. I am a believer of holistic and chiropractic work and would highly recommend to anyone!
