Working with CORE physical therapy has given me hope that the pain can be contained, if not resolved. Being in the Midwest, it is truly difficult to find a physical therapist who can help treat your pain while also keeping you physically active. There is such a fear around movement when one is injured. This is even more troublesome if you dabble in aerial arts. The Circus Doctor told me to contact Dr. Gelber, and at her clinic at Forward Movement, I found Dr. Sedlacek who took me on as a patient. Dr. Sedlacek has been amazing! When I first started working with Devan, I had sustained a severe back injury in September 2021, and I could barely walk. With Devan's help, I was performing in an aerial showcase by mid-October 2021. While I am still working through that injury, Devan has helped me tremendously and has helped me with other lingering issues I had from prior injuries. Now, I am walking, driving, working out, and doing my aerial activities. Devan has helped me to not be afraid of movement, and I appreciate that my physical therapy program is exercised based. I also prefer going to someone not tied to insurance. With conventional insurance restraints, Devan and I would have stopped working together once I could walk comfortably again, but my goals are bigger than that and I feel I have not only a physical therapist, but also a trainer, haha. If you are looking for a physical therapist who understands that passion for exercise and does not want you to stop doing the things you love, Dr. Sedlacek is for you! I live in another time zone so I can't do the in person zoom classes and do the recorded zooms. Judy always makes sure to highlight modifications (which I use much of the time). Recently I've been super busy and have had a hard time getting into class and Judy is so supportive and encouraging me to get back to class without being AT ALL judgmental. If I lived in Nebraska she'd be my PT. She's so knowledgeable--even my PT here in Boston loves her (they connected to talk shop). Her commitment to people and to constant learning shows in everything she does and in the way she runs her company.

Scheduling was extremely easy, and they have good availability, although they don't have really early hours (7:30 am is the earliest), so making appointments before work isn't an option for people with regular work hours. Everyone from the desk staff to the physical therapists were very professional. The building is nice and clean and they seem to have a good array of treatment options, as well as several private rooms with beds for treatment sessions. I felt that I received useful in-office treatment as well as appropriate exercises to do at home to help address my injury. The therapists were thorough, but I always felt my visits were helpful, and at no point did I feel my treatment was being drug out unnecessarily. I was happy with the treatment I received and would recommend this place.

Sally, the PA, was warm and thorough. She explained my break and the treatment options in a way that made everything feel a little less intimidating. Then Dr. Bruggeman came in with that same mix of professionalism and kindness, and together they quickly determined surgery was needed. Here's the kicker: they scheduled my surgery that same day! I had to juggle a few things at work, but honestly, I was just so grateful to get the process started and my wrist on the mend. Top orthopedic surgeons and care!…read more This is my second go-around with full knee replacement surgery, the first was in 2009. I can't say enough about OrthoNE and their level of care. My surgeon, Dr. Sayfe Jassim, has this whole process down to an art form, from pre-surgery to using robotics and a minimally invasive procedure to a post-operative medication and physical therapy plan that is well planned and requires me to participate. I can't recommend this facility and team highly enough.
