Went to Ford and a replacement was going to cost well over $400. I'm sorry but I cannot possibly see the value in paying that much money for a tiny machine that basically has 3 functions: lock, unlock, pop trunk. I searched around eBay and managed to get 2 blank key fobs for less than $100, shipping included. Went to pop-a-lock and got both fobs programmed for about the same. 2 fobs for less than half the cost of one from the dealership. Thank you pop-a-lock and eBay for saving me a ton of moan-eh!

Confrontational, argumentative, condescending, unhelpful attitudes again and again. Finally got a phone call AFTER I reported them to CAA. Too late, fellah, you had lots of chances to speak to me BEFORE I reported you now leave me alone.

Valley Tire went well above and beyond for us- we thought we needed a brake job, but our technician (embarrassed that I didn't get his name, but -silver Honda Civic, 2010, safety and brake adjustment) checked them out, told us they'd been done recently, and did a small, inexpensive adjustment. I would bet money that an anonymous chain would have done the brakes anyway, or maybe even said they had, and over-charged us. For non- car experts, this is amazing- we're babes in the woods when it comes to cars; Valley Tire did what was needed, and didn't take advantage. We are now loyal customers, and will continue to use Valley Tire as our shop. Well done, and many thanks!

Ugggghhhhnnnff. Sometimes I really do miss the days where I didn't have to worry about things like…read morehouses, cars, mortgages and other things that are consistently unpleasant and expensive to deal with. But, in hopes of saving *you* some stress, let me point you in the right direction for those days when you just want to light your car on fire. Woke up, noticed a tired was down to the rim, and realized I had absolutely no memory of how to change a tire. Conveniently, I also had no interest in leaning all over again especially I could just throw money at the problem to make it go away. Enter Halifax Towing. The dispatcher was helpful at pointing out the costs of service in advance and efficient in getting a car in my driveway within 15-20 minutes of calling in. I can only imagine how important that would be had I been waiting on the side of the road. Once arrived, my spare was on and pumped up with some air (he noticed it was also low) within about 10 minutes and I was able to pay the $50 plus tax with a credit card or cheque. Piece of cake. The best part, though, was that there was little to no judgement of the fact that I couldn't/wouldn't do this on my own. Once I'm opening up my wallet, I really don't need to be reminded of my limits..
