These days too have passed and the tannery seems to be more a building that supports government offices, the traffic court, and Medical services while being spattered with various smaller business and a church. A lot of beautiful work was done to the tannery years ago. Marble, a waterfall, and lots of artistic tweaks. Many of us don't find reasons to go there frequently, but it is a very pretty pace. Parking can be tricky at times, but I've always shot a spot. I'm there frequently now for cardio rehab. They use the main floor as a track for building up the muscles and heart for people. If you haven't been, it's worth a trip just to see that it looks like inside. ;)

There were at least 6 people in front of me........and I hate waiting in line........ the exception maybe for food....and the food better be excellent!! This location allows me to renew Health Card, Driver Licences, Vehicle Registrations.. I still remembered that time that I have to go to a Ministry of Health office in order to renew my Health Card!! To my surprise, the line was moving really fast!! The staffs at the counters are so efficient in handling all the transactions and I had everything done in 15 minute or so!!

I was there 3 times today for various things. However all that being said I have been here for passport renewals and a few other things. Everyone has been helpful and quick. The longest wait time was 10 minutes so I'm impressed. From the front staff to security and on back to the other staff very efficient job well done thank you!

It's conveniently located in this little mall, which is right off Highway 7 and Martin Grove, so it has plenty of parking, which is sometimes difficult with government offices. You can make an appointment ahead of time for most services, which I've done. When you go into the mall, it's close to the Tim Hortons (across from the Home Hardware.) It looks like your typical, drab office, complete with handwritten and paper printout signage everywhere. When you come in and you have an appointment, you approach the desk where it says to check in for appointments. Otherwise, you have your usual, snaking line towards the counters for non-appointment visits. Both times, I've had very friendly, competent staff serve me. I like that they are diligent, and check what time your appointment is before serving you. They don't take any nonsense because they are running on a very tight schedule, but they are professional and not rude about it. Both times recently, they've been very efficient, even though one appointment was for a not very routine service. They have a supervisor on hand as well who helps keep things running smoothly and assists with reassigning wherever needed to keep everything going. So why not 5 stars? The venue really is tight and drab, and even with the generally very good service, it doesn't help when people lie about their appointment times. I also find the online appointment signup very un-user friendly, and I find you have to book like a week ahead. Still, a very good Service Ontario office overall. I'm not too mad that it's replacing the ones I've gone to previously.
