We were convinced by the Decked Out people that a repair of our deck would not be enough and that we should just go ahead and remove it and put in a new deck. We accepted their recommendation. We paid them half up front and they said that they would start in 1-2 weeks. After 6 weeks and not hearing from them we started trying to contact them. We had over 5 broken promises as to when they would start and 3 months later they started what they said would be a 5 day process which took 3 weeks to complete. The deck is fine, but they promised a 30 year guarantee. We called them on that and they said that they would have it to us in a week. It has been 3 months and we have tried to contact them several times a week and they won't return messages and won't answer calls. At the recommendation of the Better Business Bureau we sent them a certified letter and still not response. We have found out that we overpaid by ten thousand dollars and their failure to respond to our requests for the guarantee they promised have left us disgusted. Would never recommend them.
