This little bakery is open early when Wellington is still asleep. It has a few chairs and tables outside and it is a good spot to read the local paper, sip on that hot coffee and eat that scrumptious apple turnover while relaxing. The style or decor of the place needs a facelift ( but then again don't we all with age). The old signs and plastic fly strips don't sell the place but once eaten a cake from here you'll never go anywhere else in the local area. The staff are very funny and friendly and they know you'll be back. It is opposite Cameron Park, a great running area for the little ones and the mutt. The bakery is open from 7am during weekdays and 8am on the weekend.

My wife is very happy to find strawberry millefeuille here (she cannot find in Sydney) Panini's are excellent taste. If you like pies plenty to choose from.
