I was interested in using Ron to help me learn more about driving before I took any tests, but the amount of racism and unprofessionalism that I dealt with really put me off from even considering taking his class. read more

Unbelievably unprofessional. I was asked to divulge medical info in front of the class, to forge a student's parent's signature on the permit form, to run the VCR, and was treated to the instructor's various political views. Oh yes, and he gave at least one student an answer during the test. I did learn quite a bit, and he brought a bike to class so we could see some of the concepts in action -- that was great. But most of my learning was done through video or reading the study guide. I didn't think popping in a video and handing out books was worth $50. I wouldn't recommend this school. read more

A waste of over $400. Ron would use obscene hand gestures and would rant on about stories so that he could flip someone off at the end. He made female students feel uncomfortable in the class with odd remarks about their appearance, he had students forge signatures, another teacher have students answers on tests. He would involve himself in other students' lives by saying what to do in their life etc. One time he was more than 25 minutes late to a drive time of mine. He said racially offensive things in class. Pay $50 more, it wasn't worth it. For about a week and a half we sat in class doing nothing. The teachers didn't make much of an effort to fit some of the students' needs for drive times as we had jobs, Ron and the other teacher would belittle our jobs. Absolutely awful driving school. The learning environment is by no means productive, I barely learned anything in the class room setting. The on-road driving times weren't much better, Ron forces you into uncomfortable situations like doing his personal errands, or yelling at you to make rash decisions on the road that are certainly not safe. In one example, Ron told me to make a sharp left turn even though there was an oncoming car. I made the turn, even though I nearly collided with the other vehicle (which promptly honked at me, and with good reason.) When I asked Ron why he made me do such an unsafe thing, he only said "you had to overcome your fear of left turns." Ron never taught me, among a whole list of other things, how to merge onto the free way or in general, how to pass a vehicle, or how to park a car. I know it sounds unreasonable, but many people who take a driving course know literally nothing about driving, just like I did, and Ron's arrogant assumption otherwise put my life, and my education in danger. The cheaper cost of Go Driving (which is not that much compared to local competitors anyway) is reflective of the poor level education, treatment, and instruction that they offer you. Spend the extra $50. Go somewhere else and save your child's life. read more

One is led to believe the required 10 hours to get your permit is obtainable while taking the class. The reality: they don't have enough driving instructors. They don't tell you this until you've paid in full and are sitting in the first parent/student class. My child completed the course, passed the written test and doesn't have a first drive until 4 WEEKS after finishing the class. Options are mostly during the middle of the school day and I only have 5 hours of driving booked through the middle of October...with no availability to sign up for more required drives. At this rate, my child won't have 10 hours in before Christmas for an AUGUST class. Don't waste your money because it'll be a waste of time as well.

Ron did an unbelievable job teaching my son to drive. My son would quiz me after each class, trying to catch me in a mistake related to current driving laws. I did miss a couple... Most impressive, however, was the real life simulations Ron did during the road practice driving. He could tell what maneuvers made my son uncomfortable and he urged him to practice them until he was really comfortable. I did the requisite drive along and my son did an excellent job...which is why he passed his road test the first time with no trouble. Ron is a terrific driving instructor and I highly recommend this driving school. As an adult learner, I tried several driving schools and was never able to overcome my fears of driving. Through my lessons with Ron, I was able to complete my driving exam and finally become a driver. Great place to go for a driving school Ron Vance is the best. Was in his class 2 years ago and if I have to go through driving school again I would definitely go back to Ron. If your really not understanding something in the class or out on the road he will help you completely understand before you go out on your own I'm still learning new things from him. We keep in touch from every now and then and I wouldn't have asked for a better driving instructor! Best place to go! read more

Ron is a top notch driving instructor who helped me understand the complicated process and obtain my CDL B in just a few short months. Godriving saved me thousands of dollars compared to other driving schools in the area like NTI. Ron and his staff are very knowledgeable and respectful to all students. I have sent both of my daughters there to learn how to drive. Both of My girls came out of the course confident that they had the skills, new the laws and understood what they needed to in order to get behind the wheel of a vehicle. Ron was even so kind as to come and take my daughter driving before her test to help her feel extra confident. I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

I went to GoDriving.co to learn how to drive, they were so nice and a funny at times, I learned so much and had fun while doing it! They had fun ways of remembering things like parallel parking which made them so easy to recall when you're driving for your first time and possibly a little nervous. I don't agree at all with these reviews. I had a great experience with Ron and godriving school. He was very friendly and made the experience fun and laid back. I was going for my class A license and just after about 10 hours driving with Ron I passed first time. read more

Awesome teacher and school when I'm having trouble they help explain it to me. Was able to get my class b cdl in a month. Would recommend GoDriving for getting your motorcyle, cdl or normal drivers lisence. read more
