We've since attended a couple other weddings and frankly the DJs at those didn't hold a candle to the professionalism and leadership that we experienced from Sound Impressions. They were a little worried as I seemed to be questionable at first but put their minds at ease I was attending the same event as them for the Women's Philanthropy session of Sharon Tal the Israeli Fashion Designer. The event center itself is so beautiful. They had everything catered from the hors d'oeuvres to the wine bar. The women helped themselves and we stood around mingling and admiring the designs of Sharon Tal. Later we listened to a speech from Sharon Tal and the president of Maskit in Israel, Ruth Dayan. She couldn't be there in person as she was busy celebrating her birthday at 101 years young!! Yes, she does act young for this age, as I viewed a YouTube video of her having a good ole time in the Russian dance club. As a gift Maskit got her a barrel of her favorite alcohol to celebrate her life and legacy of this company. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and learning about how Sharon Tal became a fashion designer from working with the world renowned Alexander McQueen to designed her own outfits for the runway, everything was amazing to see and hear. Unfortunately, the experience after booking and after the wedding became frustrating, and several important issues were never properly addressed. The first issue was with the package pricing. We only had two guests attending my mom and sister. We were told we had to book the next package tier because the smallest package did not allow guests, which cost about $200 more. During the wedding, Patty mentioned that because we only had two guests, we actually could have used the smaller package with just a small additional fee. However, when I followed up by email afterward asking about this, she denied ever saying that. That was disappointing and felt dishonest. The second major issue involved the photographer. Patti forgot to inform the photographer that we were scheduled, so the photographer arrived about 1.5 hours late. Because of this, many important pre-ceremony photos including dress photos, ring photos, and other moments getting ready had to be taken on a phone instead of professionally. We paid a significant amount for photography, so this was extremely frustrating. The delay also caused the rest of the session to feel rushed. Communication after the wedding was also poor. We were never given updates on when to expect our wedding photos, and I had to send multiple emails asking about them. I was repeatedly told the gallery had already been emailed to me, but nothing was ever received in my inbox or spam folder. It took almost two more weeks of back-and-forth before I finally received the link. Overall, while the venue itself is decent for a small wedding, the lack of communication, scheduling mistakes, and refusal to acknowledge concerns left a very negative impression. I understand that mistakes happen, but the way these issues were handled afterward is why I cannot recommend this venue. There are many better options for couples planning a smaller-budget wedding.

She was professional, adorable, so optimistic, timely, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process! Her photos are extremely unique (they look like they're straight out of a wedding magazine) and we have received many many comments about how wonderful her shots were. She was heavily involved in the wedding planning process beyond just photography including timelines, advice, and encouragement (which I think is the most important in the wedding planning process). Her standards for herself and for everyone around her are well above every other photographer we encountered and it shows in her work. On the wedding day, she was engaged, organized, and led our entire team of vendors including our wedding coordinator throughout the day's events even though we did not expect her to do so. She even edited some of our portraits form the wedding day and had them displayed during the reception!!! People were OBSESSED! For the engagement pictures we went down to a park along the scioto river, we brought our new at the time puppy to be party of the photo shoot :) ! Amanda was so patient with him and got some great shots of him! The wedding day came and so did Amanda with two assistant photographers. Amanda did a wonderful job catching all the moments that I said were important to me as well as 900 extra moments! Each photographer took around 1000 pictures, so between the three of them, there was not a special moment missed! It was really important to me to have all types of pictures, the formal ones, the ceremony moments, artsy pictures, editorial pictures and journalistic. And I was extremely pleased with all the pictures!!! My wedding guests complemented Amanda and her assistants many times to me.
