Hazelnut! Praline!…read moreBlack cherry! Rum raisin! Waffle cones you guys! I can't remember the specific prices, but for 3 scoops we netted out somewhere roughly at 5.50. The flavours are fresh, but not super-punchy. The icecream is good quality (made on-site, Jersey) and not overly sweet and not too heavy or super-rich. Totally pleasant, but i probably wouldn't drive out of my way for it, either. Seemed popular with young families for lunch; the design is nice with Eames-style chairs and some modern touches mixed with the farmhouse rustic homemade-y (not a real word, I recognise) elements. Other products like jams and containers of icecream are for take-away, in addition to an expanded all-day breakfast and lunch menu. My inner kid says that I wouldn't mind revisiting for some ice-cream sundaes (can I hear it for banana splits?). The adult side of me wants to test their affogado next round. Yelp note: it's a little confusing to find, as (I believe) Godwins Ice Cream Farm changed hands. So some street signage (just off the highway) is for Godwins, though signage (just off the road) is for the Milk Shed. I'm sure this'll be sorted eventually.

Yes it's rustic, the clue's in the name, but you get fine ingredients and proper cutlery, it's been put together by a passionate owner and the staff are the same. My favourite: club sandwich is the best I've ever had - things like slow roasted tomatoes make it rock The ice cream is a bonus, especially with the children, always loads to choose from with changing flavours. Very easy to find, on a farm opposite the Manor Hotel entrance, and always busy. Whilst you can't book we've never had to wait long even when there hasn't been a table immediately available.

Don't let its lack of originality put you off though - this does what it does exceedingly well and you won't be disappointed. It pretty much just does drinks and although there are a few seats and lots of standing room, it's designed mainly as a takeaway shop. The drinks come in 2 main varieties: super sweet and sickly treats and super fruity health boosts. The milkshakes can involve any manner of gooey delights - you pick what you want from a huge list on a board on the wall, then watch as the staff chuck everything into a blender to create heaven in a cup. And I mean anything: whatever the chocolate bar, you name it. Then add in some ice cream, sauces, sweets, toppings, pretty much anything you can think of. I had marshmallow, Dream bar and ice cream. It was good. No, I couldn't finish it. If you're feeling a bit healthier, there are all manner of fruit smoothies and juices, which are all freshly made on the spot. There are suggested combinations with explanations of what they do for you (Eg: help you get over a cold/give you an energy burst/make you feel lustful) and you can get additional healthy shots of things that are good for you. But I challenge you to go in just for a smoothie - the milkshakes are definitely where it's at...

The answer would be: it is so delicious and fresh that you do not have the time to take a picture before you eat all of it. I had Blood Orange Sorbet, which got the perfect balance between zesty and sweet and Lemon Yogurt, which was very creamy but still got the healthy feeling of a yogurt. Also, they have a lovely selection of toppings. Nicely presented, all looked very tasty. And, I saw they serve Monmouth coffee. I did not order one, but I know it would be great just by seeing the Monmouth name. Definitely will come back no matter how long the queue would be!!!
