Honestly, involving Charlie Kirk and politics with Goebel Farms was one of the worst business decisions you could have made. In today's society, people are already incredibly divided. When a business chooses to publicly associate itself with a controversial political figure, it needs to understand that there will be consequences. You cannot expect everyone to simply separate the business from the politics when the business itself has chosen to make that association. Because of this decision, Goebel Farms has lost my business, my family's business, and the business of several of my friends. We will not be spending our money there anymore. This isn't about saying someone isn't entitled to their political beliefs. They absolutely are. But customers are equally entitled to decide where they spend their money and which businesses they want to support. Local businesses depend on their entire community and not just people who agree with them politically. When you choose to take a political stance publicly, you are also choosing to potentially alienate the people who don't share that stance. For me and the people close to me, that choice has been made very clear: our money will be spent elsewhere. It's unfortunate because supporting local businesses should be something the entire community can feel good about. But when politics becomes part of the business, you have to accept that some customers will walk away. Goebel Farms made their choice. We're making ours. read more

Was planning a visit with our family as we had some in town from out of state.... then we saw the Charlie Kirk corn maze. I absolutely cannot in good conscience give money to a business that supports this. Shameful. read more

Been here a few times nothing special many farms doing the same things. If willing to drive a bit further many way better. The choice to make a political statement just in bad taste. And then it seems they had their business removed from google too because they couldn't take the backlash. I'll spend my money elsewhere and have a better experience. read more

Used to love Goebel but they've gone way down hill in the years. Pumpkins in the patch are pitiful and barely worth the money they make you pay for them, apple cider tastes fermented and disgusting, the animals in their petting zoo are left in the heat without adequate food or water, and last years corn maze had so many patches that were rotten and covered in mold. How unfortunate as this use to be THE place to go for festive activities. There are far better farms in the tri-state that are inclusive and have higher quality products and family fun. I suggest you take your money elsewhere. read more

Super cute and my students loved it! The slushies were a hit! Even though they didn't respond to most of our messages or return our phone calls I'm glad we managed to come anyway! The kids loved the play space in the hay loft. That being said I hope next season they will return our calls/answer our questions. read more

Our first visit to Goebel Farms was to select our Christmas tree. They have a delightful assortment of trees sourced regionally as well as select trees available that are grown on-site. I loved walking through the rows and rows of trees -- White Pine, Scotch Pine, Norway Spruce, Fraser Fir, and Blue Spruce. Wreaths are also available. We selected a Fraser Fir (our first time with this type of tree) and loved the shorter, tighter, almost soft needles and of course a fresh tree smell that can't be beat! The pricing for a tree was very reasonable, averaging 7-$10/ft for most trees and the staff will cut, shake, trim and bale the tree for you -- they can get the trees shockingly compact for transport! The staff was so friendly, which made the experience even better. When it's not Christmastime, the farm seasonally supplies pumpkins and winter squash, Indian Corn, Chrysanthemums, Straw, and live ball & burlap trees to the tri-state area with Fall Harvest events with activities for families as well as educational tours available.* The Goebel Family are the 2nd and 3rd generations to be farming at their current farm location, raising Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Pumpkins and Christmas Trees.* *taken from the website read more

Got a family Christmas tree and a couple of wreaths for our Christmas. Everything seems fairly priced. They trim your tree for you and help you load it up if you're unable. Great consumer service and family friendly environment. read more

I have been going to Goebel Farms with my family since I was 5 years old. I have a family of my own with my son being 6 years old. We just got our pumpkins for Halloween and just picked picked out our tree for Christmas on Black Friday! Goebel Farms has always been a great place to get all our supplies for the holidays! You can't ask for a better Christian family owned farm! read more

The staff could have been much friendlier. I asked where I could pay to get on the hay ride, and all the man said was "Get in line", and pointed. When we finally got on the hayride, the man mumbled the hayride rules barely loud enough for me to hear from the middle of the trailor. When he was explaining the pumpkin patch rules, equally as dull as before, he said to pick a pumpkin about the size of this bucket. We come back with two large pumpkins, just slightly larger than the bucket. And he says, "Absolutely not, those are way too big. They have to be smaller than the bucket." For one his phrasing was very harsh considering the minor situation. Two, that is not what he said before, nor was there a sign stating pumpkins must be SMALLER than a certain size. Three, what are they gonna do with the ones "too big to pick"? Let them sit there and rot? If it's my money you want, just ask. I wanted the biggest one, and will happily pay for it. The man made us walk back out into the fields for a second time to pick a smaller pumpkin. Needless to say we were pissed off and will not return to this business for pumpkins in the future. read more
